Soft reset. Master system reset is different and deletes data (I.e., favorites, contacts, etc.)I think the system reset is holding the power and right seek buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. Yes?

It will also delete all Lincoln way access. Simple to redo though.Soft reset. Master system reset is different and deletes data (I.e., favorites, contacts, etc.)
Eh let them put the APIM. They will have to re load everything anyway. Serves them right for not knowing the simple fixes lolUnfortunately, I don’t have it. My USB with it is in FL, and I’m in ME for summer. I tried to get Dealer to do that, but they didn’t or wouldn’t. I’ve got a few days to see if all is good without a new APIM. Feels like just replace APIM and all will be fine.
The answer I found was that 22251 wasn’t purging the log files. Eventually filling up the memory causing the APIM to not work properly. I had 22251 in for months before it started causing problems. Depends on how much you start up and drive your car before it eventually starts happening. This is why you’re seeing many complaints now. Because it’s finally catching up to everyone now who has 22251. If it hasn’t yet it will. Only a matter of time. This is why 22200 was flawless. It was a good build. After August 29th, something weird started happening: my wireless CarPlay wouldn't start up, built-in nav not loading, can't change radio stations at times, and finally, info wouldn't sync to the LincolnWay app. Yesterday, I checked if there was a software update and there it was 3.4.23188. Fixed these issues. Only things not updating on my LincolnWay app are the charging history (last one listed was August 29th) and Departure Time (unable to edit or delete).
It's weird though how it must've started happening as the new software build was being released. I don't even have auto updates on.
Here’s a trick I learned from others in here. Open the Lincoln way app. Pull down in it from the top and let it go. That will force it to refreshAfter August 29th, something weird started happening: my wireless CarPlay wouldn't start up, built-in nav not loading, can't change radio stations at times, and finally, info wouldn't sync to the LincolnWay app. Yesterday, I checked if there was a software update and there it was 3.4.23188. Any issues with 23188 other than app? Everything in vehicle working better? After August 29th, something weird started happening: my wireless CarPlay wouldn't start up, built-in nav not loading, can't change radio stations at times, and finally, info wouldn't sync to the LincolnWay app. Yesterday, I checked if there was a software update and there it was 3.4.23188. So far so good. Had it in since yesterday afternoon. Holding profiles and it is slightly more responsive. But when sync slows down that’s usually a sign the memory is almost full. People knock sync. I’ve been using it since it came out. Often I know more than the dealer about it. When it’s right it does exactly what it’s supposed to. It allows you to interface with the car and run it. It’s when there’s a bad update it causes issues. But that’s why you always keep a previous build that’s know to be stable as backup. Honestly all this technology…..when the climate control was cable driven moving the blend doors etc etc it worked ! No motors to go bad, no sensors to go bad you set it where you wanted and it worked. Cable driven was actually more accurate to set to the temp you wanted !Any issues with 23188 other than app? I have yet to take it out after the update. Will report back if any noticeable problems persist.Any issues with 23188 other than app? Everything in vehicle working better?
Haven’t checked all, but now saving favorites and history which 22251 wouldn’t.I have yet to take it out after the update. Will report back if any noticeable problems persist.
Any idea how long the update took? I've read posts that mentioned 30-45 minutes.Haven’t checked all, but now saving favorites and history which 22251 wouldn’t.
On my brother-in-law's F150 it took a bit less than 30 minutes.Any idea how long the update took? I've read posts that mentioned 30-45 minutes.
