Is anyone having problems with the 22251 build? Starting this week I have had a number of problems, and I'm wondering if car just updated to this Build. 22251 has been available since January, 2023.

Problems with Black Screen, and loading maps. Also the mute button for directions was turned off. (We always have it on mute.)

Tried a “soft” reset, but problems still persist.

No issues with that version but then I haven't downloaded any maps for over a year. BTW my download for V3.4 22251 had to be done using the USB method.

I did update via USB today. Now I have a black or blue back up screen. Grrrr....blue screen only showed up about 1 in 50 times previously. Can I change back to 22200?

I have black screen or maps not loading. Have an appointment next week at dealer.

I have a post re: CarPlay/Audio issues which has also expanded into screen issues, and LincolnWay app is not updating vehicle info and will not remote start. Talked with Service guy briefly on Saturday and he said he had an issue last week with one and they had to do something I think with the APIM software. I have found a TSB #20-2301 from Sept 2020 which seems to cover many of the same issues, though it only covers model years ‘19 & ‘20, seems to me they might be expanding that to later models if this is the issue. So far I can’t get a call back from the dealer to schedule the repair which the service guy made it sound like they can do at my house using a scan tool and reloading the software update. Initially the dealer wanted to throw me in with the blue screen recall until I explained the LincolnWay app issues too and he said oh that’s sound like this other issue

My brother-in-law was here tonight with his F150 and 22251. He is having all sorts of issues so I tried a soft reset. Notta. So I tried a factory reset. Black screen. After 15 minutes, still black screen. I did another soft reset (very long hold this time) and if finally came to life. Still problematic. So, he will have to wait for an update. Very poor QA on FoMo's part.

I had serious issues with 22251. Was fine for a while then whatever confused it wrecked it. It was dropping my personal profiles, touch screen was locking up and a few other goodies. I did a master reset and loaded 22200 back in and it’s been wonderful for months now. Dealer was thinking of replacing APIM but I resolved it before the dreaded 3 week wait for an appointment with a loaner lol. Ever hear the saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it ? 22200 is staying forever lol

How did you reload 22200? The Lincoln site automatically wants me to download 22251. Thanks.

Well I had it already on a usb stick. So I put it in the car and it took it. I always save a few versions of sync on my desktop in a folder also

Good point, I will still have the old version in my downloads folder from last November. Duh...
Thanks.

DomDoobie,
I DM'd you for a little more info. Thanks

Update: Just heard from the Dealer, have an appointment for 9/21, with Loaner. There is a CSP (Customer Satisfaction Program), not calling it a recall, #23B49 to reprogram the APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module). They said it could take from a few hours to half the day, thus the loaner (dealer is 1 1/2 hours away)

Checked with my dealer service manager to see if I needed it. He checked and said no it’s VIN specific and mine is not in need of it. You watch lol, it will end up as one of those as needed ones if you have troubles

I just got the 23B49 notice too. Sept 11 appt. We'll see.....

I have the same issues and I believe it is because of the update to 22251. I've done many "soft" updates, but don't clear problem. I have an appointment. at dealer on Tuesday. I'll post results on Tuesday.

Remember, there is a system reset and then a master reset that you can do.

I think the system reset is holding the power and right seek buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. Yes?

They don't help. Most of the issues persist or come back after a few trips.

Yes, but Master reset apparently does more. See attached pic above to do Master.
