Or stop by a body shop, they have to deal with replacing all kinds of parts and will almost always give free advice about what will work (they don't depend on one hour billing like a dealer).

From looking at the sticky tape on the roof I don't thing 2 on the pads are making contact with the roof.. I believe it is an alignment problem, but there doesn't appear to be anything that lines up the plastic drip tray with the roof itself. There are 2 molded pieces on the tray I think need to go into a hole in the roof frame. Problem is once one of the sticky tapes makes contact you are done far as being able to move it around.

any luck? Mine rattled for months, asked for it to be repaired, changed the tape and it fell down within three days. Fingers crossed on today’s repair
