From Haz's forum. The net is the fix for easy entry is now 4Q. Obviously, since we did not get it in 3Q,

I had my car in to the dealer for 7 days for multiple software updates and new front brake discs. The Easy Entry/Exit feature is now working as intended.

And you have a keyfob or PAAK linked to a profile?

I had deleted those due to all the battery discharge issues. I have not set up a profile again. I can always use the 3 memory presets. The PAAK is a feature not worth having and was a nuisance as every time I walked near the car in the garage, I didn't like all the sensors, actuators and controllers doing their thing, obviously using battery power. And I have never found the need to use the phone to unlock the door or start the car as I always have my passive key fob with me as it has my housekeys. If Ford and Lincoln are looking for cost reductions (engine cover, fog lamps, lighted door threshold, seat umbrella holders, knobs and buttons), this is one feature I would gladly do without. Now the seat and steering wheel easy entry/exit are behaving as they have for the past 20 years.

In this situation it only happens when a fob is linked to a profile and nothing to do with PAAK. The embrace lighting is a setting and if enabled you get the light show if phone has Bluetooth nearby devices enable or fob gets within 15 ft or so.

Correction: I wonder if the PAAK app needs to have the phone assoicated with the profile for phone to provide similar function.

Yes, all correct. The fob is sufficient. I don't go anywhere without my keys, so the embrace light show, and easy entry/exit all work as designed with the Bluetooth paired fob. The PAAK seems redundant to the passive key fob. So, if the PAAK is enabled and a profile is set up, the easy entry/exit still doesn't work? Then reason enough to not use PAAK, at least for me.
