70 MK3
Hi i have a 70 MK3. Live in Australia and its a Right hand drive and good job and parts seem like they made by FORD has there logo on dash parts. Was wondering if they were made R/H/D. From the factory and if so any information would be great. Cheers have a great day.

I have never seen or heard of a RHD Mark III. Or any Mark Series for that matter.
Pretty sure Lincoln did not import vehicles to Aus.
Which would make that a local conversion

I posted pictures and talking with old ford employer said the made a few still trying to find the truth

Lincolns were not manufactured in Australia for that time period.
However, there were companies or individuals that did conversions to RHD.

You have a rather unique Mark III. It was imported from somewhere by someone that had a lot of $.
It would be interesting to see the warranty data plate/sticker. Would be similar to the attached.
The second character of a US 11 character serial number is a letter. That letter is the final assembly plant.
The warranty data sticker would also have the DSO code. That code would state if an export or US bases sales office.

I will have a look when get home.
i brought it couple years back. Had a Dash fire, some clown didn't put a fuse when installing a stereo.
replaced burnt loom, Whole dash instruments. Salvaged clock and few things for spares.
Ended up getting a whole dash for the repair
Glad i got a complete wiring loom. Didn't need but for Dash lights, And main plug
I have the wiring diagrams. But laying out the spare loom helped Heaps. And spending hours of being a contortionist
Passenger side L/H window and seat work fine. Right well goes down needs a hand on the up. Seats no work. I'm taking a break from the wiring Dash done even ran a New fused power supply for accessories.
Will concentrate on brakes. and suspension. Have all the parts. But there will be something.
Parts here are only brakes etc.
Lincoln Land had the dash parts and Windscreen Wow that was $2500aud
Glad its complete and able to do it myself. Glad I found this site it's been a great help and watching Lincoln Ranch. there are many Mk 4/ 5s in Australia
Anyway, thanks for reply and help I will be driving this summer with wipers in boot till it rains (the cable wont turn tried oil etc. ill look at it) And the Headlight leak Ha All good fun. Cheers I'll send pics of progress
