Revel audio observation

I consider myself an audiophile and have a $10,000+ sound system in our home for listening to music. I really like the Revel system in our '23 Corsair and think it may be the best car audio system we have owned. I like it better than the Bose systems we had in our Cadillacs and the premium system we had in our Mercedes. Of course, we don't have those cars anymore so it is impossible to compare accurately since hearing "memory" is very short term. I agree with what others have said....make sure you have a good source like high bit-rate MP3 files on a USB drive. I personally like the "audience" mode rather than the "on-stage" mode, but to each his own.

In a post by ahaynes May12, 2023, they described getting a new 2023 GT with a window sticker note "subwoofer removed." I believe this was due to a pandemic-related chip shortage. My 2022 GT (received in Jan 2022) has the best sound of any car I've ever had.

Hi wilbur. Just to avoid confusion for others, and avoid a restart of the same questions and conversation: The "Subwoofer Delete" issue was only applicable to the "Premium Audio"/base audio system. Not the Revel system.

Good luck. 🍻

Just a comment....without trying to criticize you too much, my intention is that this is a helpful comment, and received in the manner it is presented:

Saying things like "...has the best sound of any car I've ever had" is useless for readers without some context. Perhaps your only other cars have been a 1957 Hillman Minx and a 1965 VW Beetle.

I had a 1965 Beetle. As I recall, the radio worked a lot better than the heater.
Lol that’s because your heat exchanger is rotted through and your poisoning yourself with carbon dioxide lol

When I returned from "Nam" I purchased a 1967 VW Bug brand new for just over $1900 and had all the options included and there were only 2 options you could choose from and I picked them both...radio was 1 and rear speaker was the second...great little car that I put 25k miles on in 9 months doing weekends from base. Until I totaled it outside of Pittsburgh in a the middle of blizzard...sorry for the off topic...

Went back over this afternoon and played some more. I definitely agree with the suggestion of using the On Stage setting. I stand by my original statement that it is definitely not what I hoped for or expected as the top of the upgraded Lincoln system. But, all things considered we decided to move forward with the purchase. We will be picking up on Monday afternoon.

Congrats. Probably once you get it and play around with it some more you’ll like it more. You’re going to love the Corsair though for the quiet and smooth ride.
