Have a 2021 2.3 Reserve. Failure of new and replaced felt liners at rear wheel well. Insulation is coming out. Lincoln is not responding quickly. Not a safety issue. Dealer doesn’t want to replace a known defective part. EF069088-ABE1-4327-9BC5-CE660EF790E7.webp

Oh, you mean the fuzzy cardboard? Maybe if we all use duct tape we can shame them into a repair (with duct tape).

*Sorry, I know this wasn't appropriate but if they can put this trash on my car... Our previous Acura have a much higher grade of cardboard then this Lincoln 😂😂

That was an issue I recently saw in a 2021 Corsair Review on YouTube. The reviewer pointed out insulation peeling in the wheel well.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

It's a warranty issue. My right rear one had the same issue. My dealer contacted Lincoln (Ford) and they had a new part ordered. Repair was done in a day.

I couldn't tell if it was an issue with the part, or if it was installed improperly and that there's no way to adjust it once it's mounted.

That is almost what I see when I open the driver door all the way and look between.

I notice on my 2022 Corsair, they. have a lot of fasteners now in the wheel wells. Superbly done. Much better than my Fusion had. So, I think they altered their process and increased the fasteners.
