Picked Up Our 2023 Aviator Jet Package

Awesome! Curious why you decided on Aviator. As I am also looking at similar cars.

I do have to say that both the Palisade and the GV80 has a lot of technology and very advance. After testing the Palisade and the GV80, the GV80 3rd-row seating was too cramped and the power of the Aviator was much better. We felt the handling of the Aviator was better, also much more power, viewing out the vehicle from the inside was much better in our opinion in the Aviator. The Palisade was very nice but no dealership had the Calligraphy AWD in stock and the ones they had coming were already sold. Also, the Palisade even though it was AWD, it would actually only use the FWD most of the time and only engaging the rear wheels when needed. Not that is bad but I prefer a true AWD. The GV70 was very nice but was smaller then what we wanted to have so this was out of the list. The Discovery, well... after seeing in person and testing it. We didn't like the feel of it, not as smooth of a ride as the Aviator. Also despite the quality control on the Aviator, the Aviator build overall seemed much better. Also, the style of the Aviator to us looked much better overall and I would say that the technology and I mean Sync 3 that comes on the Aviator is pretty outdated compared to the Palisade and the GV80. We also liked that the Aviator has the towing package, we don't tow much but like that, it has the extra tow features. We need a tow hitch for our mountain bikes to go out riding. We did get lucky to find a 2023 Aviator when we were actually looking at the 2022 models.

Id say the aviator is a pretty amazing vehicle other than the sync 3 system. It has one of the best heads up displays I have seen in terms of clarity, its sound system is pretty amazing, its insanely comfortable, and it has a decently powerful engine with good handling.

I agree, the heads up is very clear and it is very powerful for a SUV! Just hoping to get some items fixed that the dealership is going to do, but waiting on a loaner car so we can drop off our Aviator to get fixed.

Whey are you waiting for a loaner? If they can’t give you one, I believe other posters have indicated you can get your own rental and have Lincoln reimburse you up to a point. Not sure if this is valid for non-emergency situations where the vehicle is drivable and there is no safety risk. Or does that even matter?

Didn't even think about it until now that you brought it up. 🙂 Might have to call them one more time and see what they say about the loaner car and then call Lincoln to reimburse me and find out all the details to see if my situation qualifies for it.

What issues do you need fixed?

im in the process of ordering this exact same vehicle, without the other packages added on. We really wanted the jet package though and only way to get it without the other stuff was this way. We almost got a palisade but they don't do custom orders and then then the tellurides new model is ugly to me.

Do you mind sharing your window sticker and price ya paid?

Welcome to the Forum! Yes, if you want the Jet Package I do believe that it will have at least some of the other packages. We happened to find a 2023 at the car dealer and we weren't looking for all the packages. But, now that we have all the packages we are very happy with our Aviator. We could do without the Entertainment package. We purchased it during Labor Day Weekend and Lincoln has a $1,000 discount and we also got $500 off the price. We paid the MSRP price minus the discounts.Screen Shot 2022-09-21 at 7.37.32 PM.webp

Ours look like twins! Just picked mine up on Friday. Traded in the 2022 Tesla Model 3. Convinced this is my favorite car I've ever owned and only 5 days into ownership.

Congratulations! We love our Aviator as well. Very comfortable to drive.

Interesting. Why did you switch so quickly?

The Tesla was not for me. So many wonky things. Basically and ipad with a car built around it. Not to mention I made money on owning it for 9 months so it worked out well when I traded in for aviator. :)

Just like someone else….. I ordered from one dealer on 8/12 and saw no update for a month. Found one coming into dealer hour south of me. Called and snagged. Arrived 9/29 and home in driveway on 9/30.

2023 aviator reserve 201A, white pristine, roast interior, jet package, luxury package, illumination package, full 2nd row console, and tow package. I love that the black label and jet package keep the body colored moulding on bottom of vehicle. The illumination package at night is so sick.

Beautiful vehicle. Ordering mine this week.

Am I missing something? The OP, ElCamino, has a Pristine White w/ jet pkg. and a black roof. Later poster, KEL0425 also has a Pristine White w/ jet pkg, but with a white, body colored roof. Maybe OP will chime in and clarify if his Aviator came with a Black roof, was it painted or a wrap, and who made that change.

Oh this is interesting! When you build the 23 on Lincoln’s website it is body color not black. I feel like the older models that had the blackout option had the black roof. Stock photos on Lincoln website for jet package also show body color.
