Performance Chip

If it does ANYTHING, it would be modifying the signal voltage of certain inputs through the OBD-II port. Without any verification that it actually does alter signals, or what exact signals it alters (if any) it would be hard to know exactly what it is trying to do to the ECU while you are driving it.
Generally, I recommend against these particular type of OBD-II "chips", because they are either a placebo that waste's your money, or they create unintended issues with the vehicle operation, or interrupt signals to the various CAN modules that operate parts of the vehicle.

I agree 100 percent!

I agree also! I would never add something electronic like this to my Gator. Especially just to maybe get a mile or two more per gallon. I don't care what my MPG is as long as it is running like I want it to. And the fact that it works on a subaru is an even better reason to not do it! Ha ha!!

Do not do it. Messing with the motor electronics to get 1 or 2 miles more per gallon is asking for trouble. Just go buy a subaru. lol
