I hope this is the last time I have to post about the PAAK ee/ee problem.
Reprogramming the seat modules has finally done it. When using paak, the
seat and steering wheel move as they should during exit and entrance. YAY!

A note for those who aren't aware, the battery needs to be at 75% or higher
for any reprogramming. My battery was at 52% and what should have been a short appointment turned
into a 4 hour wait while they brought it up to spec. Hope this info helps save someone time in the future.

Sounds like your battery will eventually fail (like has happened to so many of us on here). Keep an eye out for further indicators -- the car light show stops greeting you as you approach. The door locks sometimes seem to stop working. The panel of digits on the driver's door keypad stops lighting up or working. Occasional messages from the Lincoln app that the car has entered deep sleep to save battery. etc.

It also likely means he has not been getting OTA updates either.

That fix has been around for about 2½ months. But glad you were finally able to get the dealer to address it for you.

Regarding the battery, certainly there was a large community of early buyers that had weak batteries upon delivery. The parasitic drain bugs didn't help. With new batteries and bug fixes, ask seems to be good now. I can't speak to the battery health of new deliveries today, but I think everyone should be watchful of symptoms similar to what @CliffDiver noted. I don't think a SoC of 52% means a bad battery. I don't believe the system naturally tries to keep the SoC above 75%.

It appears so but 75% is supposed to be the minimum needed for a successful OTA update. Facebook has more reports on OTA failures.

When the powertrain update was being rolled out, I intentionally put my Nautilus on the noco so there would no excuse for a state failure.

Is it the 12 volt battery that needs to be at 75% or is it the hybrid battery on a Hybrid nautilus?

Do the updates start automatically or do I have to do something to start them? I put my Nautilus on an AGM battery trickle charger to make sure the battery is fully charged.

Your vehicle must be in the Lincoln queue for the download. They appear to do the downloads in population groups, not everyone at once.

That makes sense so they don't get their systems overloaded. I assume there is no way to get yourself into the queue.

Not unless you know someone.

Also, you'd be surprised as there's likely 5-10 modules with updates beyond your current configuration. But Lincoln doesn't push them all out to your vehicle. Some are updates developed for other vehicles, and aren't necessarily directly applicable to your vehicle. I'm not sure exactly where this APIM update ranks in terms of priority.

I have 4-5 updates on my list I'll have them do when I next bring it in — if they don't do them first.

All I have to say is real SW companies invest in infrastructure to support OTA updates. Car companies still have a god deal to learn about SW

I would probably agree if I knew what an SW company was.
