OTA Updates (MY2023+)

Thought I would start a thread for OTA updates to inform other owners what’s coming down the pipe. The latest update (that I received today) finally changes the wording in the instrument cluster from ActiveGlide, to BlueCruise. It also significantly reduced the amount of times the seatbelt screen appears and auto dismisses it. Additionally, I’ve noticed the screen no longer lags during startup and shutdown.

Agreed. I took delivery around this time last year, so it’s been a looooooong road.

I received a message on the screen on Monday stating that the update would be downloaded. The Corsair is set to update every morning via WiFi at 1 a.m. I checked the app on Tuesday and the lastest software update is July 20. Checking for software updates in the car shows that the BlueCruise update was “Not Completed.” The “Update now” option is greyed out. When I press it, it says “no update available.” This is a 2023 Corsair with an August 2023 build date with BlueCruise, not Active Glide, from the from the factory. Maybe since the software is already programmed as “BlueCruise” the update didn’t apply?

No that means the update failed to install, and will try again eventually. The server has to trigger the update process again.

Thanks. It’s going to the dealer next Thursday for an oil change. If it hasn’t been installed by then, I’ll mention it to them. Apparently, it’s failed twice, Monday and Tuesday (assuming it tried the following day after failing on Monday). As far as I can tell, WiFi is set up okay and has a good signal.

Thanks. It’s going to the dealer next Thursday for an oil change. If it hasn’t been installed by then, I’ll mention it to them. Apparently, it’s failed twice, Monday and Tuesday (assuming it tried the following day after failing on Monday). As far as I can tell, WiFi is set up okay and has a good signal.

It’s probably the 12v battery is not at the correct state of charge for the update to install. I’d mention in to the dealer

Got this one today. Apparently it reduces the size of the packages transmitted as part of updates to reduce the chance of an update failing to download.

I received this update Sept 9.

Lookd like this means onr update per quarter. I could live with one major update per quarter but what seems to me a dribble of insignificant updates leads me to a quit toying with us, just admit that we're never going to get any major updates such as Blue Cruise 1.3+

Got another one. This time for the liftgate module. I’ve noticed no difference in its operation so far.

I also recently got the "Liftgate" update message, and I was hoping it referred to an off and on problem I am having with my liftgate whereby maybe 2 out of 10x closing it, it stops in the middle for no apparent reason and I have to manually close it. Since I got this update, the hatch is malfunctioning more like 5 out of 10x Not worth bringing to the dealer just for this...will wait until I have more of a list.

And another one. This updated the APIM, and will hopefully reduce the amount of freezing that’s been happening for a while now.

Just got the update also. Now when I turn the vehicle on and turn on the fan speed from off, at the very top, there is now Chinese (I assume) letters. Got a pic too.
