Lincoln executives have been watching this community for years. They've also made improvements to their vehicles based upon what they've read here. They are listening to you.

This discussion will serve as a quick and easy way for Lincoln executives to gauge interest and help make decisions moving forward.

As a Navigator driver, you should state exactly what you'd like to see enhanced, added, and/or omitted from your Lincoln Navigator.

Any posts that don't stick to the subject matter will be moved elsewhere.

I hope they are listening. There has been many posts about what they should and shouldn't add, or improvements we as owners would like to see. Seeing as though the 2025s should be revealed soon, it's probably too late to implement some stuff but here's some things me personally hope they addresses with the new one or will on a later iteration.

- first and foremost, I feel as though either they need to put more development on the ride and handling team, or use a different platform. If most of us are going to pay 100k+ on a flagship vehicle, my passengers and I should get the smoothest and quietest ride possible. My 2020 feels too shaky, too harsh, too inconsistent, too flirty. My wife's 2022 45k suv shouldn't feel better than mines in terms of quietness or smoothness, and it being a truck based suv is not an excuse. Her suv does not feel better than my dads 22 escalade, another truck based suv and his is not fully loaded.

- hold dealers and service departments to higher standards. I'm paying for a luxury product but get mainstream service and labor.

- dont be afraid to add some features that the other lux brands offer, such as night vision, heated third row seats, power 2nd row seats, 2nd row window shades, digital rearview mirror, center console cooler.

I strongly feel the "hype" Lincoln dishes out on their new Navigators in their advertisements does not actually hold true, when you finally own one, drive one, and experience for yourself the true behavior of this vehicle. I recently purchased a used 2021 Navigator, (a 95K vehicle when new), and honestly, am shocked to experience the following issues right off the bat. Transmission hesitation at low speeds, the interior, although visually looks to be loaded with high tech gadgets, the "quality" of materials feels flimsy and cheap, specifically the grade of leather used in the interior for the seats. They are already showing creases and fade with only 35K of driving. There are many other observations on this vehicle, that make me convinced that my older 2014 Navigator, although 10 years old, was a much better built vehicle inside and out. I still have the older vehicle, and, honestly, enjoy driving the good old V8, "old school" much more than the 2021 navigator. Anyone else agree with this?

From the inside out as a salesperson they need to LOWER THE PRICE.
$110-120k is now the normal price? A loaded 2014 was in the 50s. Cmon man!

Ditch the plastic backed 30 way front seats. Put a fully adjustable all leather bucket seat with 5 massage modes. My 24 benz AMG 63s front seats are high quality and look like it.

I would like to see air-ride suspension, better quality thicker leather (especially on the dash) rear window shades and a quieter exhaust. Similar to the MB GLS450.

1. Ditch the piano black plastic. It scratches too easily and looks like crap.
2. When the Sun hits the chrome trim, it’s blinding.
3. I shouldn’t have to wait four months for a loaner. Especially not for warranty work.
4. Longer warranty. 50k miles is nothing these days. Especially not for a $115k+ vehicle full of electronics and complicated mechanics.
5. Add a tan leather option on the Black Label trim. White leather doesn’t work for people with kids, black is too hot in the south, and the other colors aren’t for everyone.
6. Bring back the rear tv as an option. Apparently this was removed for the 24 model.

I love our Navigator and believe it’s the best vehicle we’ve owned. I plan to purchase another one when it’s time. It’s been great for road trips, and a perfect daily driver.

How about improving the whole Sync upgrade experience. Getting updates has been problematic for many, and sometimes not even offered. Owners should have the ability to update to the latest features available at least through the warranty period.

Hi gang. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were introduced with SYNC 4.

SYNC 3.0-3.4 require a USB cable connection (unless one uses an aftermarket USB adapter/dongle).

Good luck.

I wanna add a feature, adaptive front seats. Since the nav uses air bladders in the seats already, they should incorporate adjustable seats, like how sleep number mattresses work. The seat will automatically firm or soften the cushions depending on how the driver and passengers are moving in the seat over a set period of times and adjust. It should adjust the shoulder, back, butt, and thigh rests. And of course, the occupants can leave it in auto Or choose a firmness setting. This would be incredible on long drives.

I purchased a 2024 Navigator in early May. The first time my wife took the vehicle out, less than 200 miles, and attempted to use the navigation system the screen reported a hardware issue with instructions to return the vehicle to the dealership for service. I returned the vehicle and the service department discovered a problem with the APIM & FCIM were faulty. Parts were ordered for the repair. The FCIM was replaced today but the APIM remains on back order with no ETA. If Lincoln can sell a vehicle with a faulty part on indefinite back order how can the continue to build new vehicles with the same features. Very disappointing to spend this amount of money for a new vehicle & immediately have to put it in the shop for service. Repairs not completed due to unavailability of parts. DISAPPOINTED IN LINCOLN.

The good thing is the vehicle seems to be be operating normally and you can use your phone for nav purposes until they can repair the apim
Broken within a week or 200 miles make me question the quality control at the end of the assembly line. For what I paid for the vehicle it should be perfect…

Hi everyone,
My wife and I really enjoyed the 2020 Lincoln Navigator we leased. Nevertheless, the dealer never fulfilled their own loaner policy. Service experience was horrible. I would improve the Engine we had lots of issues of hesitation and with the gear shifts. The Vehicle also must have a better ride quality. It really suffers in that department.

I purchased a 2023 Navigator L and paid a few thousand extra to get the package with the 30 way seats. Over all I am pleased with the purchase including the ride and handling. However the expensive 30 way seats were a disappointment in respect to the narrowness of the lower portion of the seats. I am a little guy ( 5' 6" and 145 lbs), and yet the seats are too narrow for me with the side cushions pinching my hips on long drives. I find it necessary to remove my billfold and phone from my back pockets to make the seats tolerable. I would like to suggest Lincoln redesign the seats to widen the lower portion (I believe Elon Musk had to do the same with the Tesla seat designs).

Hi JFM. Have you used the seat settings on the center screen to fully widen/deflate the bottom bolsters?

Keep us updated and good luck.
