they say it is vehicle specific:
"Our Cargo Liners are digitally designed to fit your 2020 Lincoln Corsair"
Weathertech
I have the same issue as you. the OEM one was sent rolled up and is still curled even with weights on it. I'm hoping warmer weather will help it flatten.
I currently or previously own WeatherTech cargo mats in three vehicles. Very happy with all three. But, they don't make one for the Corsair. They offer a generic cargo mat that you trim to fit. Doesn't sound as appealing as a custom fit Lincoln accessory. My Corsair came with the all weather mats, which seem very nice to me. So, it made sense to go with the Lincoln cargo mat, sight unseen.
A bit disappointing. It's been two months and the mat still doesn't lay flat, curled up on sides from shipping. Also seems to slide around more than the WeatherTech. As others have mentioned, I would prefer a brown mat. If WeatherTech ever makes one, guess I'd eat the Lincoln one. Anybody have the generic WeatherTech, how does it rate?
@BIC — from what I understand, the floor under the rear seats of the PHEV Corsair GT is ½ inch higher than the floor of the ICE Corsair. The reason is due to the location of the PHEV battery. As you note, the optional Lincoln mat doesn't make a distinction, so I don't know if the Lincoln PHEV GT mats are different than the ICE mats... or if Lincoln uses the same mats for both vehicle types because they determined the difference is not significant enough to warrant two different mats. I haven't seen the Lincoln part numbers.Apparently, WeatherTech has a custom cargo mat for non-GT models. For the GT:
"Cargo Liner is not available for your 2022 Lincoln Corsair, however Trim-to-Fit Cargo/Trunk Mat is available for purchase."
Not sure what the difference is between models since the the Lincoln mat makes no such distinction.
Yes, he did refer to cargo mats. Also said they came rolled up. I have never seen Ford/Lincoln package and deliver mats of any kind rolled up for the very reason he started it is a problem. Mine have all been in large, flat boxes.I've been getting confused. Initially I though the OP asked about. Rear cargo mat, is that the one behind the second seat??
I then noticed references to front floor mats??? Rear floor mats???
Is the rear cargo mat and floor mats all the same??
Ah, okay, guess so. Odd for them to do that. The cargo mat I ordered for my 2022 Lincoln Corsair from the dealer, only one mat listed and stock number is in my above post, came in a box rolled up. It is slowly flattening out.
Perhaps other models offer flat boxes for the larger mats?
Got it now.Yes, he did refer to cargo mats. Also said they came rolled up. I have never seen Ford/Lincoln package and deliver mats of any kind rolled up for the very reason he started it is a problem. Mine have all been in large, flat boxes.
Its to bad the Lincoln mats only come in black which dont go well with the brown carpets and light interior.I'm sure there are locations with more arduous winter weather than we get in Minnesota, but the factory Lincoln (accessory) mats (front, rear, cargo) have performed up to my expectations in quality, fit, durability and functionality.
I would have normally purchased the WeatherTech items for the vehicle, as I have done in the past, but they were not available when I took delivery of my 2020.
Honestly, I would be hard pressed to tell the difference between these and the WT ones. I kind of like the Lincoln branding on the factory front mats also.
but dont just come after FoMoCo. Hit the glorified Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Volkswagen, and the other mass market brands that have luxury lines that share parts. lolWell since the Lincoln Corsair is a glorified Ford Escape then it is all subjective, lol.
