I recently attained a 2001 Lincoln Town Car signature in good condition.
Found that I need to replace the O2 sensors, I’d like to do Motorcraft.
I’ve read the downstream sensor is DY-1401 which I’ve already replaced, but now I’m getting a p0153 code for the upstream sensor on the same bank (Driver's side or bank 2). I thought I resolved it the other day because the maf was dirty and the baffle on the intake tube between the maf and TB were just loosely in there. After the cleaning and fixing the air leak, the code went away but came back after trying to get the CAT monitor reading for emissions inspection.
Anyways, I get conflicting info on what the upstream sensor part number is. Local ford dealership only shows DY-1401 for my vin, but I've read the sensors are different.
Is it accurate they’ve all be updated to that same sensor? If not can anyone help supply the motorcraft part number?
