My Lincoln
2002 Blackwood
I live in Arizona and have the full set of discs that came with my Blackwood. However, only the main highway shows up and none of the city streets in my town do. Are there any update discs that might have more info that would work with my system?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. And for your support! This is a great question... I do wonder if the newer model Navigator discs are compatible. Or perhaps there's an issue with the set you have where the city streets aren't displaying. There's a 2004 update available here:

Other than that, it may make sense to use an aftermarket product to update the Blackwood's navigation system.

I have a 2006 Navigator with the optional navigation system.
I bought it used about 10 years ago.
I did find some CD updates on eBay. I bought those and updated to some future date. Something like 2010, maybe not even that far.
After that Ford did not support the system because there were newer systems in the newer vehicles.

For mapping, the road and highways are always changing or being added. A new subdivision is added and those streets are not in my navigation system and will never be there.
I live in AZ too, in the Phoenix area likely there will be multiple new subdivisions near the Loop 303 and West of I 17 because of the chip plant being built there. Those areas are going to show up on mapping program in my ride as traveling in open desert.

It is what it is when old software is replaced by newer systems.

Thanks for the response! I'm in Lake Havasu and only the main highway shows up on my map. No city streets. I may check in to one of the navigator disc updates to see if that works. Thanks for the tip!
