Hi
i have an 07 Navigator that did not come with navigation. I purchased a brand new one (from 07 and 08 model year this is not Sync) and installed it. Most things worked with the exception of steering wheel controls, back lighting of buttons and the subwoofer.
I had it reprogrammed and the tech (not from dealer but works with Ford and Lincoln) had to set it up as if it were an Expedition otherwise it would have THX setup.
It works and sounds good as well. However, it has the Ford logo. I have tried using "f-develop on" and optioned through the menu items to develop info option to change it but it will not convert.
I am wondering if anyone else has tried this update and found a way to change the logo? If so, can you provide any instructions?
I have not seen this on site so i hope i am not repeating.
