tell your car insurance app not to track you.Well I like using the car nav. It has a nice big screen I can see and if I use my cell phone the car insurance tracker dings me for using my phone while driving

I’m an old guy, but I try to keep up with technology. The car has a lot of useful features, and I want to take advantage of them.I have no idea what that means and don't plan to lookup. Freaking car already has enough things to remember
.
I also have an insurance tracker but it doesn't ding me for accessing the phone through CarPlay (USAA). Yours may, however, but perhaps worth a try. Generally I will set a destination before I get going and not touch it. But the voice activation button on the steering wheel works good as well. Just have to press and hold the button to use voice through CarPlay.Well I like using the car nav. When he said $200 Google phone I assumed he has an AndroidIf the address is already in your phone, such as in your contacts, just touch it and it pulls up the iPhone Maps app, which also knows about traffic. The map app will be shown on the vehicle's touch screen if you're using CarPlay. Super easy. There's no need to pay for the vehicle's nav subscription.
From Google AI ... "Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are smartphone integration systems that allow you to access and use certain smartphone apps on your car's infotainment screen. They essentially mirror your phone's interface on the car's display, enabling you to use navigation, music, messaging, and other compatible apps through the car's controls, like touchscreens, buttons, and voice commands."nope, don't even know what carplay is and wasn't my topic
