MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

How are you able to search a 250 mile radius? Lincoln’s website only lets me search a 20-100 mile radius.

Iceman, are you an orangeblood? Just curious I know a guy with that name. I dont know how I can, but it let me. I haven’t checked in a few days. But if it’s going to be a 5-6 month wait I might as well look for one I want

Not an Orangeblood…. We pull for A&M in our house. As for the distance, I did see you can modify the radius in the URL and chage it to 500 and that does work. I could not get it to go higher than that.

You can play around with the zip code if you know codes within the radius you are willing to work with. You can also use other search engines such as cargurus.com, autotrader.com, etc. to look up new vehicles. The unfortunate part is not knowing how current those sites are and if the vehicle(s) you find are actually available and on the lot. And you know what happens when you call a dealership. They can tell you anything just to get you to show up.

Change the number to what you want up in the address bar and you can search further out.

Hi gang. As moose66 stated, simply input the Zip Code from any other town/area you want to search, instead of your own. For example...If you want to search further than the mile limit allowed (i.e. 750 miles), input the Zip from a town that far away or further.

And you can find Zip Codes by simply Googling the name of any town. For example, Google "Zip Code for Punxsutawney PA".

It is just a simple way to work around the limits.

Keep us updated and good luck.

Update regarding order tracking
>Order Placed July 27th
>Order Confirmed July 29th
>Order Scheduled Oct 11th (Scheduled to be produced week of 12/5 which is well beyond the 8 to 12 week leadtime I was given upon order placement)
I got an email from Lincoln on Tuesday (Oct 11) that slid my date from Nov 14 to Nov 21st for the production week start date. Oh well, eventually they'll get it in to production - probably in time for a railway strike. Such is life. I can wait for it in order to get the vehicle that I want.

Which trim did you order, bdh?

It's in his margin profile. ;)

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
Due to it being a GT, the wait will usually be longer than if you had ordered a Reserve. That seems to be the deal according to many other posts here.

FWIW, I have a similar build and was told 6 - 10 months. Good luck.

I ordered my GT on May 25th. Every Tuesday they push back the build another week. Been getting updates since September 1st... I dread to see the Tuesday evening email.

I ordered mine on June 22th. I have also been getting push back on the build week very Tuesday. I'm now on the week of November 28th. When I ordered mine the dealer said to expect a 6 month period before I got mine. Following the posts that I have read, it seems that the Dynamic Handling Package is what is causing the delay. Since that is standard on the GT package, looks like the GT's are the ones getting pushed back.

Hi, new to the forum. Ordered GT on July 28th, email from Lincoln on 29th, nothing after that. Seems like it’s getting even longer for wait times now. Chatted with the dealership, but they were pretty useless. Lincoln should at least give people with orders an update every month. Even a small amount of customer service would go a long way. Little disappointed in Lincoln regarding the communication.

I'm guessing what you received from Lincoln may have been a copy of the DORA which details what you ordered including options and the price.
If not, your dealer should have that and should have provided you with a copy to ensure that the order submitted is/was correct. From what I've read here, there are some members that receive regular updates, a few even weekly.

Your dealer of choice represents Ford and has just as much info, at lest in regards to your orders progression, as FOMO itself has, and should be giving you all the updates you ask for. It only takes couple of minutes and is great customer service. I don't consider one update per week unreasonable at all. Sadly, some dealers don't want to be bothered since they already have you on the hook, and resist investing a few minutes on customers, which would make me knock on the owner/managers door to rattle his chain. I've cleared out showrooms of it's potential customers before. Glad to announce i have a super great rural dealer now for the last 20 years and wouldn't dream on doing business elsewhere.
