MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

You know that for sure? How? If your dealer goofed, you can have him reorder it. I personally wouldn't have been all that disappointed if it was deleted or not ordered. There are reports of it not being as nice as expected and that the regular suspension rides better. I'm sure it's a nice ride anyways and rides better than it's cousin, the explorer. Wifes 2017 explorer we're trading in, rides very nice, so i'd venture to bet the Aviator rides better yet even without the DHP. Give it a try and be impressed!

It is live on the Lincoln app. I have spoke with the dealer and the concierge. Both has said it is totally produce. Just waiting on shipment due to lack of truck drivers.
Ok, you got it from the horses mouth and should be correct. Hang in there...you'll be driving it soon enough! FYI: just because it show live, dont mean it has all it's ducks, eh...chips in a row and can still be missing one.

I love your positive attitude. Dealer swears they ordered, but have nothing they will show me. As an additional tidbit, they changed "managers" about the time we ordered . He was just gone one day. I see no others on Forum that did not get the Dynamic and nothing even close to my blend/build date that did not get it, so I am having to make that assumption it was not ordered right. If they reorder, with the chip issues in the automobile business, I am worried who knows what might be missing after I wait another three months. We have a 2020 Platinum Explorer and the ride is okay. Went from a Acura MDX to the Explorer and have been so disappointed in the quality of the Explorer interior. Cheap and plastic pieces breaking constantly on seats, thus the reason we are buying a new car. At $85K, we don't want to be disappointed. Decisions, decisions!!

If it was ordered, you'll be getting it in my opinion, just like everybody else. Not sure if yous has been build yet or not, but if it is, just walk in and ask for the factory invoice, which the dealer gets from ford before the vehicle even driven out the factory door. Whatever you see on it, you'll get.

Car was built 8/1 and shipped on 8/16. due to arrive at dealer 9/11-9/18. Window sticker shows NO dynamic so I am assuming that is what I am getting.

My blend date was yesterday 8/17 (right behind Pete@STAP). Just checked with the dealer and he confirmed the vehicle has been produced (not yet showing on the Lincoln order tracking site) and the dealer checked and its showing a delivery time to the dealer between 9/9 to 9/16. The original order date was 7/1.

Wow, congratulations!!! Hopefully my production date will come soon...
Anyone know if there is rhyme or reason to the orders? Certain colors done together? How can someone order a similar vehicle a week before and not get a production date yet? Wondering if anyone has cracked the code...

Hello, we ordered our new Aviator from a Florida dealer on May 19th and have NEVER received an email from Lincoln. Have checked my spam folders, went back into the dealer again last week and he double-checked my email is in "the system" but still no VIN
Seeing other posts here with much better timing.
Pretty simple order I think
Aviator Reserve
Flight Blue w/ Sandstone
Only added option is Tow package

Currently driving a 2014 Navigator with 179k miles. Sure hope they deliver before I tik over 200 !

Hi wwuk1. If you take a look through this thread, you will see replies explaining the many factors and variables which go into how vehicles are scheduled. These include Dealer allocation, the Priority Code a Dealer assigns to a particular order, scheduling constraints, commodity and parts constraints/shortages (especially relevant during these pandemic induced shortage times) etc. etc.

And these pandemic induced shortage delay issues are affecting all automakers, not only Lincoln/Ford. In fact, these issues are affecting many/most manufacturers of almost anything nowadays. You can be 100% sure that Lincoln, like all automakers, wants to build your vehicle and get it to you as soon as possible, since they don't make a dime until they do so.

As I've mentioned in threads concerning this subject, I had to wait over 40 weeks for a La Z Boy recliner special order which would normally have taken ~4 weeks before the pandemic. We ordered it in October of 2021 and just received it the other day. And that was only a chair. Far less complexity and fewer parts than a motor vehicle.

I realize none of my sad recliner story (😱😂) helps you get your vehicle any sooner , but for those of us who absolutely need/want a vehicle now and can not wait until things get better, all we can do is be patient and wait.

Hope you get yours as soon as possible and good luck. 🍻

Your ETA is even close to mine in Ontario. Sep. week of 11-17, which is different from my Dealers truck vehicle status report which shows my ETA as week of Sep 5. Are you in Ontario as well?

If you were in Ontario California, we would be close but no I’m in Southern California

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
Did you and/or the dealer at least get the VOC (Vehicle Order Confirmation) and DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement)? Keep in mind production only started on June 27th.

Big diff in shipping distance between the two of us. If our ETA's pan out, you're doing really well, actually better than mine considering yours will be going by rail most of the way before a truck will take it the rest of the way, and mine just travelling by truck for it's 8 hour drive.

Not being sure where you're located, my 2011 was shipped by rail to just outside of Toronto where I believe it was put onto a transport truck for the rest of the journey.

My dealer is in Dutton, just west of London, ON. 90 minute drive from Detroit and 8 hours from Chicago. Not gonna bet my life on it but i'm positive the 2017 Explorer never seen the inside of a rail car. The extra 2 hour driving distance must be what made the diff. It's all about logistics....But things might be diff now with the truck driver shortage
