MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

After reviewing the window sticker it looks like the only thing that isn't as we had ordered (besides hands free lift gate) was the rear mini console instead of the full console. Which could also be a dealer screwup.

Dynamic Handling was listed on the window sticker.

No such thing as "build" anywhere in ford vehicle visibility. When the vehicle is rolling out the door, the status changes to "produced", even though it continues to stay "in production mode" till either it gets the chip it's waiting for, or it's ready for shipment and then changes from produced to "released". At this time the "in production mode" changes to "awaiting shipment. At that point the shipper, rail/convoy has it on their ramp and is scheduling schipment.

For Lincoln they have a Built status.just wondering if that means they had all the chips and its complete. Mine was supposed to arrive at the dealer this week per the Lincoln email but it has not shipped yet.

"Full" console. Still trying to get used to using a forum from my phone... And its swipe/auto fill/corrections. I was very active in automotive forums before I had a smart phone, then apparently Photobucket and Facebook all but killed most of them about ten years ago... during my 2 years working "at sea".

Received an email that they pushed my shipping date back from 8/9-8/16 to 8/20-8/26.

I am willing to bet my dealer didn’t order my dynamic handling, but they sure won’t admit it.

It will say Convoy on all window stickers I believe. It doesn't necessarily mean 'truck' like in the old song "Convoy". Mine have all come by train and the window stickers said 'Convoy'.

Even those on trains end up on a truck.

Called the concierge today and was able to get some good information! She was able to give a alink to the tracking website and my vin number. In production 8/15 looks like the blend date is 8/23.

Wondering what link that could be. Can you share it with us??

Yes, they do since the train isn't able to pull up to the dealership. I've mentioned that before. However, some believe that when they see "Convoy" on the window sticker that it automatically means the vehicle is being shipped by "truck" from the factory.

Hi All, I ordered my Aviator Reserve from the dealer on 7/26 and received my order confirmation from Lincoln on 7/27. I have received no further updates. How soon can I expect to receive my production date confirmation? And how confident are we that the actual 8 to 12 week lead time is accurate to receive our orders?

We also ordered last week of July…BL-GT. We also have no movement (VIN, etc) on our order.

My dealer told me that he’s being advised to tell customers 4-5 months.
And they’re a fairly busy dealer (for Lincoln standards) in Phoenix. They have 13 Aviators en route and 80+ other Lincoln’s on property. My local Tucson lincoln has like 2 total vehicles.

Mine has been built since 7/28 totally finished. Lincoln Concierge said they are waiting for a shipping date. Said they are having a hard time finding truckers.
