MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

2023 Aviator Reserve AWD - Pristine White - Roast Interior -Rear bucket seats with full center console
Reserve 1 201A Package
Elements Package
Dynamic Handling
Class IV Tow package
Illumination Package
Technology Package
Jet Package

Confirmed via email from Lincoln April 12.

Received no communications from Lincoln since confirmation.
Tried dealer and Lincoln customer support for more info with no luck getting info since the confirmation.
Walked into dealer Aug 5 and after they made several calls they said it is slated to be built next week. Stated only option deleted was the rear lift gate.

Wonder why Lincoln hasn't been emailing the updates they said they would in the confirmation email....

"As your vehicle goes through the production process, we will keep you informed during key steps along the way. We will send you emails, like this one, when your 2022 Lincoln Aviator Reserve is: SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION – all necessary parts are secured, and your Lincoln has been placed in the production schedule. BUILT – when your vehicle has been built, we will let you know of the estimated arrival date at your dealership. SHIPPED – when your Lincoln has been shipped and is on its way to your dealership, we’ll include the latest estimated arrival date."

This forum as been extremely helpful, thanks for all the info guys!

I just got off the phone with my dealer. My GT is finished and awaiting shipment in Chicago. The email from Lincoln said it will take almost 6 weeks to arrive. Doesn't that sound long?

Wow! 6 weeks! Do you have Amazon Prime?

I thought 2-4 is usually normal. Maybe your dealer’s deliveries normally take 6 weeks from the factory to your location? Just curious, where are you located? (I just put in an order for GT, so I’m glad to see they’re starting to pump those out)

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
Production of the 2023 Aviator only started on June 27th so there really wasn't anything to communicate until after that date. With it scheduled for next t week, you should have the window sticker available now or very soon.
If you ordered a 2023, I wonder why the quote you posted mentioned "your 2022 Lincoln...."? Hopefully that was a typo on their part. BTW your profile also shows a 2022. You did order a 2023, right?

Transit time depends on many factors. For my 2022 Aviator it took almost a month to get it to Kent WA, then it sat there for 3 weeks waiting to get delivered to the Olympic Peninsula. Then we were told it "may" be part of the engine rail recall, so it still sits on Recall hold, no demo, or sale. Crickets from Lincoln/Ford on when they will inspect to see if it passes and can be sold.... These days nothing is quick or efficient....

I'm picking it up in Savannah Ga

Thanks.
It was ordered April 2nd, 2022. Sales team thought we would have it by July fourth (2022 model). However, now It will be a 2023 year model. Hope to get the window sticker soon to confirm the wait has been for what we ordered. I am also in GA, sure hope it doesn't take as long to deliver as stated in the post above!

Thanks for the reply. You may want to change your profile to show 2023 Aviator, (Reserve or GT) in the My Lincoln field to avoid further confusion. ;)

Hi,
Been lurking for a while, and finally able to post!
Ordered the following:

Aviator Reserve 201A
Elements Package
Class IV Trailer Tow
Luxury Package
Illumination Package
Jet Package
Hand free lift gate delete

Ordered at dealership on 7/30/22...have only received an email the next day stating my order was confirmed. Nothing since that day. Anxiously awaiting further emails!

Ditching a 2017 Pacifica for the Aviator. Cross shopped a few other makes and models (including the Explorer ST) but love the look of the Aviator over everything else. Pacifica was great on space and features but wanted something a little more "cool". Kids (14 and 12) helped pick out the color (white with jet package). Live in the Chicago burbs so hoping the "shipping" part of the order process is relatively quick.
Will post updates as I get them (as others have done). Have always been on forums for all my cars (Mazda 6, Mazda CX-9, Audi A6, Chrysler Pacifica) and have found them to be very helpful in almost every regard. Also causes some worry as you do see a lot of the "bad stuff" float to the top of the message boards, but c'est la vie! It didn't stop me from ordering!

Finally received my build confirmation!
Order: 3/17 - Reserve, 201A, Luxury, Jet, tow
Blend: 7/19
Delivery estimate: 8/10-8/16
Hoping for the earliest delivery (aka. Tomorrow) because my trade in (‘16 Explorer Platinum) is in service for broken tailgate motor and blown twin turbos. Can’t wait to say, “see ya” to that one!

Will be interesting to see when I get a build status - my blend date was 7/21 (reserve 201a - tow package)

You will have to keep us updated. When I checked Ordertrack on Saturday/Sunday (for the first time) mine was showing as “built,” but my Lincoln email didn’t come thru till Tuesday afternoon.

Spoke to our salesman today. He’s saying mine is on a microchip hold. Here’s to hoping the delivery window is accurate. My current car is still in service. So.dang.frustrating.

Just got a call today - microchip hold also - wonder how long this will be

UGH!! Praying not long because it’s so.damn.close. Toss in the fact I live an hour from the factory makes it all that much more frustrating.

Well....it's Bucking day today for our Aviator !
Blend day is Wed. 17th
Dealer ETA WK of 09/05, providing it wont be sitting on a ramp for weeks on end waiting for a chip

We were built on 8/1 and still not shipped. Suppose to be this week , but not holding our breath
