MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

We ordered Aviator Black Label May 19, 2022. Fully loaded It is now in production. Had a delete for hands free lift gate But the Window sticker shows they did not install dynamic ride handling option. So disappointed. We were already disappointed they did not upgrade Aviator to Sync 4, but ordered anyway. Now the dynamic ride may be a deal breaker. Guessing a chip problem. Could order another one and hope for better luck?

Not sure if the window sticker would show the dynamic package it or not. Might be included in one of the packages you ordered for your fully loaded unit. Does a Dynamic handling package show on your DORA? If so, you'll likely get it. I ordered it too, but haven't got my sticker yet. Only delete on my DORA is handsfree liftgate.

The Dynamic Handling Package is a standalone $2400 option.

Dealer called and said chip issue and in his words “this may no longer be offered because chips not available for possibly 3 or 4 years”. seriously? I had to laugh. Our build shows to be #2391. Found an in production Black Label Aviator #1679 window sticker that shows it to have the Dynamic Handling option but lift gate delete. I would consider it, BUT the Alpine white leather seats is a no go for me.

Hi 6t. As far as how long chip shortages will last, your Dealership rep really had no clue and winged it on that one.

The problem is, which chip is in short supply can vary from week to week, let alone month to month. But the shortages will not last 3-4 years.

So for those who, whatever the circumstances, need or absolutely must have a new vehicle now, all we can do is buy what is available off the lot, or factory order and be patient.
Of course, buying off the lot right now puts us at the mercy of supply/demand and Dealership greed, probably settling for something that is not exactly what we wanted, and generally means paying a premium.
And ordering means undefined and long waiting periods.

So my best advice for those who can, is to stay out of the new vehicle market if we can. Probably until early next year.

We are seriously thinking we will just sit back and wait a while. Our world is such a mess and my frustration doesn’t change a thing. Lol

Must have been a price increase lately. My DORO shows it as $3500 (67B) or $3101 my Z-plan price.

That $2400 is according to the U.S. site. The Canadian price will be higher. The 2022 Aviator Build & Price tools shows that option at $3500.

my dealer in orlando called and said my 22 GT that was ordered on 2/18 arrived. There were mistakes on the order so we placed a 23 GT on 4/4, but i went and checked out the 22 yesterday and listen to the upgraded Revel Ultima audio package and it jams.

he printed out my window sticker for the 23 and said its supposed to be here 8/11. but looking at the sticker this morning there is a delete of $55 for hands free lift gate. so im guessing thats a chip thing

Yes, definitely chip related shortage. My July/4 th order had the same and only delete at this time.

It's not just a chip shortage otherwise they would build with the suspension components and just add the chip when it's available

I did not, you can view my first post on this thread, I have everything listed that I ordered but it's a Reserve AWD with basically every option except the dynamic handling. Ordered it around 5/12, started production this week.

Ordered my Reserve AWD on May 13th as well and the production starts July 25th. My window sticker shows the dynamic handling package included as an option. The only delete is the hands free liftgate.

Had a 1 hour powow with the owner of my dealership on friday. One of my questions was the possibility of my Dynamic package getting deleted even though the DORA indicates otherwise, in addition to the hands free liftgate already showing on my DORA. He's confident and said, they wouldn't have scheduled it if they wouldn't have the parts for it.

That is rather quick all the way around Pete. I'd be curious to see how accurate it really is.
I wish the Canadian site would update theirs to show the 2023 Aviator so I can do a Build & Price online to get an idea what I'm looking at cost-wise.
My lease isn't up until Oct. 31, 2024 but the dealership usually is interested in getting it back once 3 years is up because of the extremely low mileage.

Yes, quick for today's standards, normal for yesterdays. Dont know if you have the 2023 order guide or not, but here it is anyways which likely wont help you since there's no prices included.
