MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

Hi,
Relatively new to the forum, I posted earlier of our '23 Aviator GT order. So far I am rather perplexed.
We wrote the deposit check for $750 and left it with the dealership on April 16th.
The check has never cleared, and we have received absolutely NO emails from Lincoln.

A couple months ago, we stopped by the dealership to inquire. The sales manager looked into their system and said our
order was "Scheduled" but no date was associated or stated. Seems like an oxymoron to be Scheduled/No Date.

Any thoughts?
So, just a quick update….
I got a text and some pics today after lunch….our GT arrived and is ready for us to pick up.

Ordered April 16th, at dealer November 3rd.
Absolutely no correspondence from Lincoln.
Not really a big deal, but now it’ll be a few days before we can take delivery since our finances aren’t in place.
6.5 months….not too bad.

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
"A blend date is the anticipated date for final assembly... or when the vehicle gets "blended" together. It is located on the top of the window sticker, which is generated roughly a week (give or take a few days) before your scheduled build week."

Peter
With my updated build week of 11/7 I checked today and I have a window sticker! Looks like blend date will be 11/13, so exciting!

I ordered a BLGT in July…scheduled to be built last week of November. Who knows if that’s still the expected build week.

So, maybe 5-6 months lead time?
We ordered our BLGT on 6-3. Was originally scheduled for build on 10/17 and was pushed to 11/14. Hoping to confirm next week that the build has not pushed out further.

So is it safe to assume Lincoln gives you monthly updates?

I've heard rumors from the dealer that Lincoln is pushing orders back because the costs have gotten out of hand and they don't want to sell at the "ordered" price. They want to increase their price.
When I signed my order it locked in my price as well as an interest rate for a loan through Lincoln if I want to take one. I think it actually hurts Lincoln to take longer to build our orders in case prices of parts increases again.

So is it safe to assume Lincoln gives you monthly updates?
Assume no such thing. We ordered in April, our GT showed up at the dealer 2 days ago…not a peep from Lincoln.

Wow Congratulations, Happy for you, 6.5 months wait is really long.
My GT order was placed early Sept this year, I still see Order Confirmed. I dont see any progress/update on it, am just hoping for some estimate by end of this year.

Hello,

I am new to the forum, but have been keeping up ever since I ordered my Aviator Reserve with Jet Package (Pristine White/Roast). I figured it would be helpful to see another timeline, so here is mine.

Ordered at dealership (Central Valley CA)- 9/14/22
Confirmation Email- 9/17/22
Scheduled for Production (11/14/22)- 9/29/22
Production Schedule moved up (10/17/22)- 10/4/22
Checked with Dealer the day after the blend date (10/19/22) and he confirmed it was built-10/20/22
Built confirmation email-10/23/22
Checked the tracker and was notified that it was shipped as of this morning- 10/25/22

Hoping that we see it at the dealership within two weeks.
I spoke with the dealer and it looks like the Aviator is in Richmond, CA. Expecting delivery by the end of next week.

I got a text from the dealer about 20 minutes after this post. The car has arrived.

Just an FYI, my tracker still says "Shipped".

21" Bright-Machined Aluminum Wheels with Dark Alloy Painted Pockets
Flight Blue Metallic Clearcoat
Sandstone Premium Leather Seating Surfaces

Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ 1.5 Plus
Lincoln Embrace

Ordered on Sept 5, 2022.

Sept 23, we got an email confirmation our order was placed from Lincoln (yes, 18 days later).

Haven't heard a peep from the dealer. We don't have any tracking info. Wife called today to get an update and the sales rep said "he's got nothing".

I've read the prior posts on this thread and I'm starting to think our local dealer isn't motivated to deal with online orders. I keep telling myself not to stress; but our experience was less than stellar at the dealership. The sales rep seemed like he didn't want to place the order.

Do care sales reps not get paid commission (or less commission) for placing orders?

PS- they snuck in the nitrogen in the tires, which I was warned from a buddy that's their new trick now.... and of course buying at MSRP... I guess I'm a fool after all!

At the bottom of the window sticker…. A date beneath the MSRP in the middle.

If you don’t want to, no big deal. Mine is expected to be built 11/28-ish, so I’m wondering how long it took to arrive from its approx build/blend date.

My build date was yesterday, anxiously awaiting updates!

Hi Ariz. Just to dispel a few recurrent errors we often see repeated:

- Blend date and Build date are not the same date.
- Build dates are not listed on the Window Sticker.
- Traditionally, Window stickers could be released anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks or more before actual production. With current pandemic induced delays, Window Sticker release is more unpredictable and those times can be even longer.

Yes, Blend and Build dates can sometimes be used to give a general idea of actual production, but they are far from precise nowadays.

Good luck.

I’ll check when I get back home, I didn’t know that was on the sticker😜

FWIW, here is the date below the MSRP:
