My Ford Touch Problems- Software Update

Many of you are having all kinds of issues with your My Touch systems, and also many of you do not know about the BIG update that came out in August of last year. We still get cars in for My Touch problems that do not have this update even 2014's, I don't know if people are just dealing with them cause they don't want to waste time at a dealer or what. Well waste no more you can do the update yourself right in your driveway. There is a few things to know to make is successful so I put a video together walking you through it with tips along the way. I agree, the update is very easy to do yourself. If I can do it, anyone can! There are definitely times you'll think the system has locked up, but have patients. I don't know why you wouldn't do the update, the voice recognition is greatly improved; it's actually useable now. Other glitches are also fixed; it's not perfect, but it's much, much better. I've found two remaining annoyances: the ambient lighting changes to white on it's own, and the right hand dash display changes the display at will (its will, not yours). I'm hoping Ford / Lincoln will release a new update when the 2015's hit the road. We'll see. In the mean time, if you haven't done it already, install the update.
