Hello. Horn is not working. The 30 amp (circuit breaker type) fuse, that controls other things liked the power seats, is good, I assume, as the power seats are working. My first question is, where is the horn relay on the Mark V ? Also, the turn indicators were not working one day last week, now they are. If the clock spring is ultimately the issue, could the turn signals be affected by the clock spring? Or are they on a different circuit? Any thoughts? Thanks.

The Horn relay, if you have one (only Mark V's equipped with speed control have the horn relay) is located on the lower steering column. Look up between the gas and brake pedal, it has a three wire connector (black w/ white dot wire, blue wire, and yellow w/ blue dot wire). The black w/ white dot is the 12v for the relay coil and contact output to the horns, the blue wire is the power output to the horns which are chassis grounded, the yellow w/blue dot wire the relay control ground from steering wheel horn switch. No clockspring, manual call it a ground brush, If I get a chance, I'll post a pic of the spare one I have. The turn signals are on a different part of the assembly and are a 12v signal, not a ground signal like the horns. You can easily check the ground brush with a meter at the relay connector and the horns by using a jumper from the black w/white dot wire to the blue wire.

Here are pic's of the column switch assembly and the horn relay (the horn relay is nearer the firewall, the taller relay is the rear de-ice relay).
