Hi, I have a trouble with Way App, My Continental 2019. Can’t activate Way App, getting error (Activation is failed) already did master reset etc, still not activating. So who knows what’s the problem? Im not in USA, could this be the reason?

If you are not in North America it probably won't work since it uses the cellular network. In any case, a strong possibility is related to the on-board modem being unable to communicate with the Ford/Lincoln servers.

It don't matter where you live in north america long as it ain't cuba , I had the same problem , switched 3g to 4g motum mine is a 17 reserve , then it stopped working soon after , pinpointed it down to the apim , module

Did you check your email ? If you got an email it was successful even though the car said it wasn’t log out of the app and sign back in. I’ve had that trouble after a master reset and nothing would make it work. I logged out and logged back in and it worked. So simple but elusive fix lol. Try it. Might not work for you but it did for me more than once

Where are located ??

I had the same problem. It seems that Lincoln has set new internet password criteria and my old password was non-compliant. So, I created a new compliant password on line and everything is fine now.

Thank you. I found that, if I’ll change the embedded modem(tcu) to European version, than it will work, since US modem not working outside of US

Yes, still not activated

Yes, still not activated
I was in the car when I was doing it and I was watching the upper left of the screen. The up down arrows weren’t there. But then after signing out and back in while I was in the car they suddenly appeared. I clicked on them and some stuff was greyed out. Couple of minutes later everything was back

I tried the app but because i have the ford app it wouldn’t let me sign on with the ford credentials like it tells me to,then when I make a new registration it says the email is being used already

Hi Jeffb. If your current email address is associated with the FordPass app, you need to create a new email address and use that new address for the LincolnWay app.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hi Jeff. Did you mean to say, “ok done but it does not have connectivity to the car”?

Good luck.
