My Lincoln
2024 Naultilus Reserve AWD Hybrid
Good morning, just received a message that my premium connectivity will be expiring at the end of the month. Been reading different things about what you will be not be able to use if I dont pay the subscription fee. One said Blue Cruise, another said not for example

We have a 2024 so we only get one year free subscription, I guess the 2025 were offering 4 years free

Is the subscription worth it?

Any assistance is appreciated

Cheers

I don't know if it's worth it or not. Mine also is set to expire, but I'm going to wait and see what actually stops working before deciding to renew or not.

I don't think Blue Cruise is going to stop working, because there is a separate subscription for Blue Cruise. 2024 models (except Premier I) came with 4 years of Blue Cruise. I believe Premier I models only got 90 days. But I could have that wrong. I'm just going by what the early 2024 Order Guide says.

Your Lincoln Way app has a Connected Services area that will show you what is expiring soon.

So, since voice interaction depends on either Google Assistant or Alexa

and Premium Connected Services appears to facilitate Google Assitant and Alexa

Do we therefore loose voice interaction if we dont have Premium Connected Services?

My guess is voice to change temp will work but asking google for time or anything to do with navigation will not if you do not have a phone connected. This assumes no phone connected using AA. No idea about how carplay works.

Great topic to explore as us 24 owners are having to face it head-on. So, ours expired on Halloween and I tried the "car items" with voice and as Angore guessed, they work. Then tried Hey Google what is the weather - it worked. Then asked an informational guestion to Goog and it worked! So, not sure what doesn't work anymore, yet. Also, we use all navigation needs with the apps on iPhone....so if those don't work it does not cause us any loss.

Again, if you go to the Connected Services on the app, it will show what is expiring soon. At least, that is what happened for me on my Navigator. It was pretty easy to determine.

Determining when Premium Connected Services expires is easy as you say, but we are trying to figure out the extent of services within the Premium Connnected Services effected.

Maybe calling Lincoln to find out is the best way to

One week remaining for Premium Connectivity — for the 2024 owners anyway. I still haven't decided whether to continue via subscription. We'll probably try it without for a while and see.

Me too. I did get an email today trying to get me to renew. My wife's Subaru has a tom tom and it is awful at voice recognition.

Well, my wife reminded me how stressful this time of the year is and how that stress could boilover into the house if the car started behaving differently and she had trouble getting things to work. And, how ultimately that stress would find it's way into my lap.

*Ahem* We signed up for the premium connectivity subscription — for now.

I will let you know next Monday.
