Lincoln app new version major bug: display vertical lines across my entire screen, or "ghost" images

Lincoln app apparently updated. Randomly when I go in, entire phone screen freezes (screen, not the controls: I can here the click when I press the lock button). Vertical multicolor random lines across the entire phone. I cannot get out of this screen with any swipes. I need to press the lock button then pres it to unlock to the lock screen the unlock back to home screen Rebooted phone, it glitched immediately but now, even if I hard-kill the app and restart it, within a few seconds I am back to the purpley-vertical-line-screen of death!! The main Lincoln page after any actiity glitches or shows multicolor images (like a purple glow around any text), but then the vertical line screen comes back. It's like some active refresh every few seconds.

Running moto g power 2024, android 15. I thought my phone suddenly dies/froze, but it is ONLY the Lincoln way app causeing this. And no way out except the home button.

after a hard kill from the app control page (whatever you call that), restarting it, i get a few aseconds out of it. It is not 100% of time, but often. Seriously screwed app, and I use it for phone-as-a-key. My kids have the car now so I cannot test if it works as a key still when this occurs, but this is seriously messed up and started same time as the new appearance (today).

update: pressing any button (like lock or unlock) causes the purple ghosting double image. The full-screen-glitch is more random but can pop up by itself with no keypresse s t all. Using the app for any length of time, it will go into tghis death mode.

Update: uninstall / reinstall, clear all cache. Worked for aabout 3 minutes. Then death screen popped up again. Ugh. My wife's moto edge 2024 has the app and it works. This is very bad.

I updated my app last night. I phone 13. All works fine. The face of the app from the update is nice and modern.

Thanks, but only with this one app. Only on main screen, not the tire pressure or Nav pages. Consistent but not immediate always. And some timing, like on a refresh. I have always had G Power phone, but regret this new one. I got it for large screen, but got my wife an Edge 2024, and even the OS feel is nicer on hers. Both phones were bought new recently, and 0 other issues. I think it is a subtle interplay with the particular phone / OS and the app, but who knows, next update to the app could fix mine and break a newer phone. I don't want to restore phone to factory spec or I will lose texts, etc.

Anyway, in reinstalling the app, it dropped phone as a key, and car is not here now as sons have it. Once bck, if I can reinstall phone as a key and it works, I'll live with this: I don't need to leave the app in foreground all of the time. Still, very annoying. We will see.

I agree. But on my phone it hangs the entire screen as described. I don't us my phone except for basics much, except this. So having this bad is unpleasant. I just hope the phone-as-key works reliably even if screen is in glitched-out state... we will see.

iPhone 15 Pro here...mine works flawlessly.....since your phone is a recent purchase...maybe they can warranty it? Sounds alot like a hardware issue.
