Hello all,

I have a 2000 Lincoln Continental and have decided (for no particular reason) to change all the lights to LEDs.

I understand this will trip various sensors so I want some advice regarding load resistors.

I don't know if there are parking light, backup light, or cornering light monitoring systems but I do know there are turn signal and parking lamp monitoring system.

I don't know if I should put individual load resistors at each light or if I should replace the flashing relay with one for LED lights. Also, the number I've seen out there for the load resistor is 50 Watts 6 Ohms, does this sound right?

i would like to install driving lights on it somewhere (and maybe even LED DRL strips), has anyone seen a good install?

Finally, I am also contemplating replacing the standard 9007 headlights with 9007 LED lights (which they claim should just plug right in, $90 for the pair), any problem there?

I don't know if I will get to the interior ones as it seems like it will be a lot of tearing stuff apart.

I would appreciate any advice and suggestions!

Thanks in advance.

I converted all the exterior bulbs on my 2002 Explorer Sport Trac to LED, except for the headlamps. I considered load resistors, but with those you would not know if a bulb had gone out (no rapid flash for example), so I went with the correct LED compatible flasher unit.
