Hello Town Car Enthusiasts,
First time poster with a laundry list of questions. I will do my best to remain brief! In July 2016, I purchased a 1996 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series which has the following needs:
1) The landau top has split at the seam and needs to be replaced. I believe the Vinyl was originally navy blue but is now gray from a 20 year fade from the Southern California Sun. What should I expect to pay for this replacement? If the interior and exterior are navy blue, should I go with navy blue for the replacement? I have also considered cream/ivory or gray as I like the way it looks now.
2) The actuator door recently stopped working and its repair is expensive and intensive. I found this video about bypassing the heater core and was wondering if anyone else here has tried this with success? I don't need to worry about working heat since I live in a warm climate. https://youtu.be/6CtJ_G3zIUc
3) I need a front license plate frame which has been surprisingly difficult to find online. The aftermarket brakets do not have the right cut to match the curviture of the bumper. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
