I am going to put a set of the factory Lace Spoked Wheels on my 1985 Town Car which currently has the factory steel wheels with the wire wheel covers. Did the Lace Spoked Wheels use the same lug nuts as the steel wheels ? If not, what is the difference ? Also, did the Lace Spoked wheels come from the factory with the McGard Wheel Locks ?
Thanks for any help on this.

Same lugs should work regardless of steel vs aluminum wheels, just check them first. I don't know who supplied FoMoCo with the wheel locks;McGard is a good possibility and as far as I have seen most aluminum wheels except the old turbine style(which may not fit your Town Car due to offset) came with locks. If you do not have locks and dependant upon you reside, its not a bad idea what with the current cost of rubber!

Step66 - Thanks for the help. Some years ago I had an '84 Town Car with the same Lace Spoked Wheels, and I remember that it had Factory furnished wheel locks which I found were McGards. I would assume(?) that the '85 would have had the same. Since my '84 came with the Lace Spoked Wheels, I never really paid any attention to the non locking lug nuts, just torqued them on. Since the '85 I just picked up has the wire wheel covers, I wasn't sure if the lug nuts were he same, as my parts books only cover 1949-75.
Thanks again.
