Interior swap

I have a 2000 navigator with a great body and a great drivetrain. The interior is sketchy. I also own a 2005 navigator with a great interior but a horrible body and a 3 valve with a hole in the drivers side valve cover (probably due to a broken timing component). So my question is do I swap all the good stuff into the 2000 (interior, 6 speed tranny, rear independent suspension etc) or try to fix the 05 and have 2 running vehicles?

Pretty sure these are two different generations and some stuff won't just bolt right up
