My Lincoln
2024 Nautilus
Just brought my 2024 Nautilus home 2 days ago. The radio/infotainment center resets every time I start it. The radio starts with AM radio regardless of what the last connection was. I can connect Apple CarPlay only after going into the Bluetooth setting (every time !). Google asked permissions every time i a start the car.

I have allowed permissions over and over but nothing works. The attached photos are every time i start the car. Does anyone else have this problem or I am? I’m not doing something correctly.?

From the screen shots it looks like you need to set up a profile and may be in a guest profile that will lose any setting after a shut off. Try setting a profile and your phone and all othe settings like radio seat etc.
Hope it works for you. It did on my nautilus after it received software updates.
Tim.

Thank you. However Profile is greyed out and I cannot change it.

I don’t understand why Lincoln dealers are letting people drive off the lots without setting up buyers’ profiles first. Not everybody is tech savvy and a car with so much new technology, this is the minimum that should be done. Not doing this just creates problems for their clients and generates bad publicity for the product they are trying to sell. Very shortsighted!

We’re working on it now. Able to set up a profile but it doesn’t want to connect to google.

I had a great sales experience, but I didn't understand how great until some of the posts here. I spent at least an hour with my sales guy setting up and testing everything (other than HomeLink and my home wifi connection). The fact that this isn't SOP at every Lincoln dealer is unfathomable to me. How could any new owner of this car be allowed to drive away without even setting up his Google account???

OP, there's soooo much to setting up this car, even for a techie like me. Honestly, I'd get in the car, drive to the dealer, go directly to the sales manager, and demand (politely) for the set up that you should have got before you left the dealership the first time.

I did too...but since my sales guy was new, we had to figure out some things together. But ultimately the Sales Manager joined us and helped us get it finished up.

I had the same issues, I purchased a Black Label in April,
I just got it back and all issues are cleared up. You probably
need some dealer updates. My updates were
RADIO AND SPKRS
• RECALL# 24B09

REAR AXLE
• RECALL# 24P07

CMPS AND RECALLS
• RECALL OR CAMPAIGN #24P08

CAMPAIGNS & RECALLS
• RECALL #24P14

Call your dealers service dept and hopefully they will schedule you an appointment
to bring it in. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Hopefully it won't take that
long for you. Good Luck !!!

Appreciate everyone’s help. I will take it back to the dealer next week. The sale was late at night, so everybody was rushing.

Well, the sales manager of the dealership I leased my car from sat in my car with me for an entire half hour trying to show me how I can get Waze to show up on the top screen.

(Spoiler Alert: you can’t)

You are right but that’s not a good excuse. Break with the model of having your salesperson help with the setup and have a dedicated trained person for this. My neighbors in Florida, who recently bought Audis, were telling me how impressed they were that Audi sent someone to their home to set up the cars for them and show them how everything works. Certainly a dealership can train a person for this. Setting up a profile is pretty simple for someone that knows what they are doing. Heck they could pay someone a fee for each car they help set up. It’s part of good customer service and should be expected for a luxury product.

I'm not saying that I like it or it's acceptable. But it's the reality. I'm in a market of over 750,000 people and the "Lincoln Dealership" is on the right end of the Ford showroom. I know that I'm not going to get a luxury experience there.

Dealers should get one or two well trained rather than leaving
It to the partially trained salesmen. My salesman did go through the setup process with me at delivery to get my account added and phone attached but little more than that.

I had the same issue. I was livid. Have someone from dealer sit with you in the vehicle and set up your Driver Profile. Setting up my profile fixed all of that.

I concur, when I picked mine up from service dept after the four updates, I immediately checked to see if the Rejuvenation Feature was included with the updates ( as the service advisor said he thinks it is included when I first dropped it off and asked him ). Well it wasn't there and he went and got a guy that appeared to be a salesman or manager as he was not dressed in mechanics clothing, and he had no idea of what Rejuvenation was. I educated him by showing him a Youtube video and his reply was " it might be in google apps store" I then said "You have no idea of what I'm talking about do you? His reply was a swift & immediate " No Sir I don't "... To make a long story short... Hopefully it will be available in the 3rd Qtr as an Over the Air update.

In the video I saw about Rejuvinate it is to come out in the 2025 Nautilus and later available for download to 2024 models .
