My Lincoln

Has anybody received a recall 25SC4 on the Lincoln app?

See attached; check the Monroney for your car. At the bottom is a date, which is the date the VIN was generated for your vehicle. The actual production date is days or a week or two later.

Yes, recently, but this sounds to me the same as last year's 24SC74. Guess this means the previous fix wasn't?

Dealer told me to bring my car in for a software fix. After four hours returned the car with no fix as the software upgrade was not available. They told me to set the charging to 80%.
Did get a free wash!

My guess is ... someone, somewhere, had a battery issue and the original software "fix" didn't work exactly as advertised. So, back to the developers for a fix of the "fix."

At least this one doesn't say no charging - yet!!

I'll still keep on charging since I'm in the 95% that don't have a problem cell!! 🫰🏻

Or … today’s iOS app update now shows no recalls at all!

Entertaining first world issue …. What IS the truth? 😁

Well, upon further review (of the Lincoln Owner website) ... the recall is still apparently valid!!

2022 GT. Not to hijack the thread as I also have the same recall listed in the app. Also in the app, under Customer Satisfaction Programs are:

Long Block Replacement

Flat Tow Rating Change

High Voltage Battery Replacement

But, there is no explanation for any of the issues.

Please see the attached file of the HV battery recall update on 11/26/25 on from the road.ford.com. My Lincoln App has stopped showing any active recalls or alerts, like it had been. I have not yet received any updated recall letter that had been mentioned to start going out about Dec. 1. Immediately below is a copy of the latest update on 12/12/25 from the Ford Recall Website, based on the VIN of my '22 Corsair GT. I wonder what the line below "we have a remedy but parts are not available right now" actually means about the nature of the solution. If this indicates that all HV batteries need replacement, there could be a substantial wait as over 20K Ford vehicles are affected, and when you add in Stellantis and VW Group vehicles, over 180K vehicles are affected based on the same/similar Samsung SDI PHEV HV battery. Recently, even the $200K Bentley Bentayga was added to the recall list.

Received my recall letter today also. Contains instructions on how to limit charge to 80%.

The previous recall said "DO not charge". At least with this new recall notice does allow charging to 80%. I can live with that for now.

Yeah got mine too, at least they're letting us charge to 80% this time instead of no charging at all. Sounds like they're still figuring out the actual fix though since parts aren't available yet.

Okay, so I've got to ask this sophomore question. The recall notice recommends (in red) two things. First to not charge beyond 80%; Second to only drive in "Auto EV mode". Gee, I don't really have an "auto EV mode". Do I? I mean I've got Normal, Conserve, Excite, Preserve EV, Pure EV, Slippery and Deep. Hum. You'd think Lincoln could be a little bit more specific! Who has the answer?

Turns out DDG AI does: this term is apparently one assigned to the Escape-

"Auto EV Drive Mode in a Ford Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) automatically switches between electric and hybrid modes based on driving conditions to optimize efficiency. This mode allows the vehicle to use electric power when possible and seamlessly transition to the gasoline engine when needed"

Don't ya think they coulda just said that!!

My dealership said to leave it in "normal" mode, and not charge above 80%.

Yeah I think "Normal" mode is what they mean by "Auto EV" - typical Lincoln/Ford confusing the heck out of us with their recall language! At least 80% charging is way better than the no charging nonsense from last time.
