divorce judgement papers came in the mail a few days ago...looks like her child support is comin directly out of my payroll checks. NICE! well its not like i havent been paying her otherwise, she just wants it guaranteed!

Marriage is grand... Divorce is 10 grand.

Sorry for ya buddy, even if the woman is an axe murderer, I think they would still win everything in a divorce judgment. I'm not down on women at all here, its frustration with what I read about the judicial system. What happened to the equality that women demand everywhere else in life? Would a man (if granted custody) be granted child support from the woman in the same way? Doubtful!

Can anyone explain this to me at all? Women can be great workers too, and I know some women that work better and more effectively than the guys on the same crew doing the same jobs. Stagehand work isn't pretty or easy, so for these women to rock it... There isn't any question they are equals. Why so much inequity in the handling of divorce cases then?

actually, this divorce wasnt 10 grand.... it was $143,400

yea i hear ya. I got "awarded" the house too....which is worth about $175k and balance of $207k LOL! I'll be livin here a while :)
