You need to get her a trailer for the car and some cardboard boxes. Then she can move lots like mommy :D

If the antlers grew in during this stage, it would be impossible to give birth... But the long ears are soft... :D

She looks great Vicki.

Thanks Hypo, I didn\'t want to say that too, but Ive never seen that much detail in a ultrasound. I think they are cool and all... But the docs must be some kinda genius to be able to tell boy / girl or anything other than \"your infant appears to be growing antlers... Or holding a cheeseburger\" from such a low-res image. Home Depot sells these fiber-optic boroscope things, you\'d think medical science would have a version of that or an ultrasound that could show color pictures.

And yes, I DO know that a boroscope wouldn\'t work... The baby would probably drool on the lens. :D

The pictures they print are never quite as clear as the image on the screen. My last 3 ultrasounds were at a specialists, and they had 32-40\" flat screens to watch on. So you got to see plenty. And I definitely saw the money shot (as my husband has deemed it) when we were trying to find out the sex of the baby. It was rather funny though, took about 20 minutes to get her to uncross her legs and then she had her little hand down there. She was a modest little bugger.

And they have ultrasounds where you can see what the baby looks like. They aren\'t in color, but they look less alien-like. But they also cost about $250 to have done. If I don\'t have another one done for medical purposes, we may pay the price so that Brittany can go see her baby sister before she\'s born.

Nov. 10th is good. Bella\'s birthday is the 2nd, and mine\'s the 9th.

Congrats again!

Interesting stuff about the ultrasound tech. Thanks for that, without any experience other than those printouts, that fills in a lot for me. cool stuff.

For reference.. this is the 3-d ultrasound she speaks of. Worth every penny!

They do them around 30 weeks. By then, the bebe is formed and less alien looking. You can even count fingers and toes to make sure its not a mutant. :drevil:

We actually did count fingers and toes the other day on both hands and feet. And we looked for kneecaps. One of the techs had read on her iphone that babies were born without kneecaps, and the doctor they asked didn\'t know if they were, so they looked for them. I think they said they saw them. There was something there at least.

Wow... Now THAT is a use for cool technology - that image looks fantastic Heather. You aren\'t kidding, I would pay for that in a heartbeat compared to the old images.
