Just gotta remember , you only get one and there are no redo\'s .
My Mom is still here 91 yrs old , she lives real close by , I have to run her every where , I start thinking what a pain it is driving her all over , but then i remember what a pain i was and then things get back into focus for me and I enjoy helping her out .

April, had the same sort of thing come up with MY Mom, she never called me on my B-day, and she NEVER FAILS to do so. I tried calling her yesterday and got NO ANSWER. She is not in the best shape anymore, and on Oxygen. Called and called, No Answer, and I of course became Concerned. She could EASILY die and not be found for two weeks or so, as she has driven everyone away with her constant bitching and bad-mouthing. And the neighbor kids have all become pillheads and there have been two MURDERS(unsolved, Of Course) in the community in the last year. But while I was Worried, I wasn\'t panicked or anything, and I thought AGAIN how f$%king SAD it is going to be that I probably won\'t even cry at her funeral. Finally called my Sis, all was well, she talked to her that morning and she had a Dr.s appointment that evening. Turns out she DID call me, only Oldest girl was on phone As Always, and wasn\'t Mature, Responsible, or Considerate enough to TELL anyone. YES, she got a Decent Cussin\' for it, too. Should have given her a fat lip , too, no doubt., as *I* pay the phone bill here, she pays NOTHING, especially not Attention. So I kinda know how you feel. I suggest you follow your heart.

My son called her tonight (of which she wants nothing to do with because, \"You\'re just like your mother!\") and pretty much lit into her because she whined about wanting to go home. He then calls me and gives me the info to call her because she WANTED me to call. Anyway, she asks my son, \"How did you know I was in the hospital?\" He said, \"Mom told me.\" She asked, \"How did she know?\" He said, \"Aunt Tisa told her.\" I then got a hold of her later and told her that my Dad was driving down to see her. She asked why...I said, \"Um...because he still cares?\" They\'ve been divorced for 9 years. So since she doesn\'t give a shit about anyone else, it surprised her that we all called and my Dad is driving down to see her. I was waiting for something...anything for her to say while on the phone with me but I got nothing that I was looking/hoping for.

Ouch, not a good situation. An RV park that I am acting as sysadmin for has a similar situation with the network provider.

All the on-site equipment was set up by a single guy from the cable company, and he \"neglected\" to log the user names and passwords for the routers at this property. Stupid. That guy who did the installs isn\'t interested in handing over any codes however, b/c he was fired for getting a DUI in the company truck. Not their fault, but everyone is suffering. I\'ve been solving the problem by replacing any router that I can\'t login to, with stuff that is now considered CPE. Eventually the park can drop the \"maintenance\" payments for this gear, since the provider is incapable of doing anything with it either. They just don\'t want to admit it.
