He ran away last July. I underestimated his strength at 6 months and he ripped his anchor out of the ground. I could see where he screwed the fence up dragging the anchor and the 20 feet of cable under the fence
I remember that now. :(
Mason, that\'s a bad idea man. You don\'t want to be carrying a loan like that and trying to go through Wyotech at the same time. Add in fuel and the cost of insurance for a truck that size for someone your age and you\'re going to have $700/mo in costs. That\'s a fantastic deal but realistically it doesn\'t work for you without some help from your mom and you\'ve already said you\'re trying to get on your own feet and away from her.
yea that pipe dream died allready
my bro cant take on his school loan so my mom cant co sign, my grandparents arent working and dont wanna co sign, and my dads gotta do school loans.
And now that I have found k members im just gonna fix my car.
The insurance company doubts they can get my money for my wreak but they still trying to find me not at fault or at least not 100% at fault.
I got a lot of work ahead of me to fix this car. Exhaust needs redone(smashing off everything drives me INSANE!!) everything in the suspension rattles, squeeks, bangs, squels, and the rear end is starting to lock in turns.
But hopefully with the support of you guys i can do it!!!
The biggest mistake young people make with car loans in the fact they don\'t factor in that they get raped on insurance. A 1997 truck isn\'t going to net him a very good interest rate to begin with. Combine that with the fact insurance on it would likely be 160 to 200 a month for him. On a 5 year loan he would likely have to pay 400 a month just for the payment and insurance. Add in gas, and money for spare parts/brakes/tires and your easily in the budget of an average of 500$ a month for 5 years

Biggest problem being that its going to be over half his income on the low side, and that he is going to have that debt for 5 years. If he really wants to go to wyotech, he is going to be regretting every minute of that payment. Unless they pay you when your going to school there?
No they dont
and yes I factored in everything, intrest woudl be like 2500
I already pay over 160 for insurance a month, my insurance is on me, i have my own plan. Im paying 187 a month, 1900 a year. Intrest rate would have been about 12 percent. so like 250 a month payments. I though about it and I would want stacks, a tuner, all kinds of goodies, and its not worth it. I own my car if I fix it, ill lose alot of money, but ill own it the entire time.

That truck would be so nice... its the cleanest one ive ever seen, hands down

If only I could get on overhaulin\' haha. That would be great, get the mark some recognition, and have a nice car to drive back and forth to school.
Don\'t buy a car unless you can pay for it straight up. Just my opinion. Also, not to be a dad or anything, but why are you getting an F-250? How bout a little reliable 4 or 6 cylinder just to get to work and school?
cause I can make much more money having a truck. I do alot of work, and working from my car SUCKS. Its hard caring around a jack, jack stands, tools, welder, grinder, and everything else in a 2 door coupe lol.

plus I would like something better in the snow being as im moving to PA, and there winter is worse then mine lately!

And its got a PSD under the hood. throw a banks tuner on it, extra 80 something HP, and 120 something TQ by turning a knob to level 5
God it would be fun to spank a mustang with a big ol\' truck on the strip.

so why does it have to be supercharged or turbocharged? can\'t you just drive a standard, 4 or 6 cyl normally aspirated Truck as your DD? you can fix up a Lincoln, T-Bird or whatever for your gas sucking \'project\' vehicle.

So your saying you would have to likely pay more then 187$ a month for insurance, and then 250 a month for the payment (for 4 years)? You realize that the loan company will require full coverage insurance on that truck right? Your talking over 450 a month just to own the truck, which is already over half your monthly income. Then you need gas too. I don\'t see anyone giving you a loan for it, and if someone is willing you shouldn\'t sign the contract.
