That\'s the only thing that I worried about especially with him being a pit. If I run across someone that has him and he\'s being mistreated God help them...
You didn\'t get him lojacked as a pup? First time he saw a vet, they would know he was a lost / stolen pup...
That only works if the person that has him WANTS him to be scanned unless he is taken to the pound. He had a dog tag on him which essentially does the same thing. When I told my vet that he was a rescue they scanned him but if someone doesn\'t want him scanned all they have to say is they bought him.
FYI, you can do your FAFSA still, schools want it in early to start their processing. You can do it, but you might miss out on some aid because you were later. You will not miss out on the Pell grant (if eligible for it) or the Stafford loans. Just go do it. Trust me, I work in the financial aid department of a university. BTW, does this mean you are going to college in the fall... so scared for the world if so!

Get USED to it, Mason, that\'s what MOST women believe their Purpose is In Life, to humiliate all or any men they possibly can, and be a millstone around our necks. Don\'t sweat the girls, you haven\'t got TIME for them RIGHT NOW. You have to Take Care of Number One. Don\'t worry about your friends, either. It\'s just The Way of Things. You become friends in school because you\'re Captives forced to share company, and you get to know people. AFTER school, everyone is FREE to go their own way, so they DO. As everybody starts leaving their nests and trying to build a life of their own, they of course go off on different courses at different speeds. It\'s nothing Personal, or anything wrong with You OR Them, it\'s just How Things Are. On the Up Side, now you are FREE to Cut OUT the fat and deadweight in your OWN life. Start with people who bring you Down. Like your Mom. Trust me, it\'s HARD enough to rise above your Stupid Kid Tricks and BE Somebody without those who are SUPPOSED to be your Support Group shooting at you. Do what I do, and file away EVERY snide remark, every cutdown, every Slam or f$%k for Future Reference. That way, ten years from now, when you have your OWN place, your car is in better shape than New, and your son or daughter is five years old and your Mom has seen them maybe TWICE in that time, you can REMIND her of all that misery. People ALWAYS forget that kids GROW UP and become ADULTS, and kids don\'t always forget. THIS ONE fer damned sure doesn\'t.

Thanks man!
Im doing everything for number one
I have no time like you said. Im working 32-38 hours a week, making at least 200 a week so its good
Im trying to take out a 9k loan right now to buy my buddys dads truck. Its a 1997 f250 regular cab long bed, with the 7.3 powerstroke. Truck is SPOTLESS, sandblasted and undercoated, has like 80k miles, hasnt been in snow or salt, and its just amazing. Im hopeing if all goes well I can afford full coverage, and loan payments
Im done driving junk, and fixing my car more then driving it. Im investing in something that will last for a long time and will be reliable. Ive seen other trucks, with same miles, same shape, for 14k, ones with 215,000 miles going for 9k
So if I can do it im gonna do it. Im working my ass off, got all my grades up to b\'s, paying my own bills, so im gonna do something for myself now while I can.

Mason, that\'s a bad idea man. You don\'t want to be carrying a loan like that and trying to go through Wyotech at the same time. Add in fuel and the cost of insurance for a truck that size for someone your age and you\'re going to have $700/mo in costs. That\'s a fantastic deal but realistically it doesn\'t work for you without some help from your mom and you\'ve already said you\'re trying to get on your own feet and away from her.
A car loan is not an investment.
Unless you can find an all original Tucker that\'s unmolested for $25,000. It might be an investment at that point ;)

The biggest mistake young people make with car loans in the fact they don\'t factor in that they get raped on insurance. A 1997 truck isn\'t going to net him a very good interest rate to begin with. Combine that with the fact insurance on it would likely be 160 to 200 a month for him. On a 5 year loan he would likely have to pay 400 a month just for the payment and insurance. Add in gas, and money for spare parts/brakes/tires and your easily in the budget of an average of 500$ a month for 5 years

Biggest problem being that its going to be over half his income on the low side, and that he is going to have that debt for 5 years. If he really wants to go to wyotech, he is going to be regretting every minute of that payment. Unless they pay you when your going to school there?

Don\'t buy a car unless you can pay for it straight up. Just my opinion. Also, not to be a dad or anything, but why are you getting an F-250? How bout a little reliable 4 or 6 cylinder just to get to work and school?
