I missed the date for the FASFA cause I didnt know there was a dead line, never mind what to do with it, so I told her I figured she was gonna remind me and do it with me, and she freaks out saying I always blame everything on everyone or everything but me. I have done this in the past, but I havnt been. .
FYI, you can do your FAFSA still, schools want it in early to start their processing. You can do it, but you might miss out on some aid because you were later. You will not miss out on the Pell grant (if eligible for it) or the Stafford loans. Just go do it. Trust me, I work in the financial aid department of a university. BTW, does this mean you are going to college in the fall... so scared for the world if so!

Get USED to it, Mason, that\'s what MOST women believe their Purpose is In Life, to humiliate all or any men they possibly can, and be a millstone around our necks. Don\'t sweat the girls, you haven\'t got TIME for them RIGHT NOW. You have to Take Care of Number One. Don\'t worry about your friends, either. It\'s just The Way of Things. You become friends in school because you\'re Captives forced to share company, and you get to know people. AFTER school, everyone is FREE to go their own way, so they DO. As everybody starts leaving their nests and trying to build a life of their own, they of course go off on different courses at different speeds. It\'s nothing Personal, or anything wrong with You OR Them, it\'s just How Things Are. On the Up Side, now you are FREE to Cut OUT the fat and deadweight in your OWN life. Start with people who bring you Down. Like your Mom. Trust me, it\'s HARD enough to rise above your Stupid Kid Tricks and BE Somebody without those who are SUPPOSED to be your Support Group shooting at you. Do what I do, and file away EVERY snide remark, every cutdown, every Slam or f$%k for Future Reference. That way, ten years from now, when you have your OWN place, your car is in better shape than New, and your son or daughter is five years old and your Mom has seen them maybe TWICE in that time, you can REMIND her of all that misery. People ALWAYS forget that kids GROW UP and become ADULTS, and kids don\'t always forget. THIS ONE fer damned sure doesn\'t.
KY Jim

A group of us went to the Badlands on Sunday. Within the first hour my truck was down so I hopped in with one of the youngest guys in the group because he was the only one that had spare room. I seriously thought I was going to die. This kid (I am 25 and he\'s 21) was doing so many things wrong and I was trying to help him out. Of course he knew more than me (he has never been offroad in his life) and wouldn\'t listen to anything I had to say. Finally I said no more and I got out and made someone else make room.

While going up a sand dune he bogged down. While backing down the hill to get another run at it he cut the wheel while we were doing about 5mph. I grabbed the roll bar and held on because I was waiting for us to start rolling.

While going up trails he wouldn\'t let the person in front crest the hill before he would start up after them.

Coming down hills in low range he would hold the clutch in and climb all over the brakes instead of putting it in first. He did listen to me one time and he compression braked the Jeep. He even commented that he had a lot more control doing that than by using the brakes but he never did it again.

He would start up a hill in the wrong gear, realize he was lugging it too much, go to downshift and miss the gear he was trying to grab and it would lurch while going up a 45 degree incline.

I was never so glad to get out of a vehicle in my life.

lol I remember when I was helping to train people off-roading. Someone pressed in the clutch going down a hill... damn truck jumped forward, I thought the worst was going to happen...

He didn\'t read his PMs from FvC, and his good karma became his broke truckma.
What happened to the beast, Tater?
Either knocked the pickup tube loose from the oil pump, oil pump gave out or smashed the oil pan into the pickup. I was too damn tired to look at it after we got it home and I didn\'t care last night. The truck runs great but has 0 oil pressure.

Damnit... I completely forgot about that PM. I\'ll run it today at work.

That sucks. At least the pan is pretty easy to pull in a 4wd.

He ran away last July. I underestimated his strength at 6 months and he ripped his anchor out of the ground. I could see where he screwed the fence up dragging the anchor and the 20 feet of cable under the fence
