Hi Lynette
You might want to consider talking to your local Pet Aid League location (They should be in the phone book) about low-cost fixing of the kitties. Except for the wild momma that was already pregnant when we rescued her and her two older kittens, all of ours are fixed and happy. Once momma popped and they were weaned (and ALL were indoor permanently, including the rescues) momma got fixed too.
IIRC, it\'s like $25 and $40, but with a lot of cities and counties pushing harder to reduce the unwanted pet populations, the prices might even be lower than that in some areas. It\'s worth doing, and the cats will be happier for it. Also, if you get the kittens done early enough, no spraying to mark territory.
