HELP!

sorry , repost ignore this post

i do however have a computer question.
on my new computer i have IE set as my default browser. but if i go to the desktop and click on IE, the page will not load and it says i am not connected to the internet, even if i have been on aol for hours. can someone help me?

i know, i know... i am waaaaay beyond help...:teehee:

There\'s your problem, get rid of AOL. :slap:

With AOL you are never truly on the internet. AOL acts as a proxy server (a middle man of sorts). You connect to AOL and AOL connects to the internet. It\'s a shitty system and a shitty provider. You can\'t use Internet Explorer because you don\'t have access to the internet, only to AOL.

You cannot use any other browser other than AOL\'s. That\'s what I\'m trying to tell you. Those browsers connect to the internet and not to AOL. You have to use AOL\'s shitty browser.
