I am pleased to inform me that I have just gotten a STUPID great deal on a pressure washer!

2800psi, Honda engine, labeled as a \"recondition\" yet the engine doesn\'t look like it\'s had a single minute of operation. Pretty and shiny! I\'m fairly certain this was a store display unit, as it\'s been tagged with green paint (it\'s red) and I just realized that this engine is the same one thats on the 3000 psi model, so the engine won\'t be working too hard on this model.

Original price: $379 with only one spray head (common adjustable model)
Sold price: $279 sold with NEW adjustable nozzle, 5-option fixed spray head nozzle (looks like those garden sprayers with the rotating head) and I also bought a quick-connect wand with 5 more fixed-spray tips for $20

Gotta love it. Upgrading from a 2100psi with only the adjustable to all these toys... priceless.

I didn\'t see ANY that were fuel injected, I don\'t think I want to be paying THAT much for a unit, I\'m not looking to drill holes with it. :wtf: No, its a carb, but it\'s NOT a Briggs and Stratton engine. Should be known as Bad and Suckful for how lousy the dang thing is. A guy told me that the B&S carbs have these little ball bearings in them that drop into position to seal stuff off (I can\'t imagine what, :dunno: ) but if the thing has been sitting for a long time, then moisture (like Florida\'s 99% humidity) will build inside the carb and the balls will rust into place, and not move the next time you go to run it. So if they don\'t... The carb doesn\'t draw fuel. Certainly sounds like what\'s happening here! I could make it run on ether just fine, but it wasn\'t drawing fuel at all. Stupid design.

Bambi and i are \'attempting\' to buy a house. we put in an offer on one yesterday, they countered and we told them to take a hike. we moved on to \"Plan B\", met the realtor AGAIN last night and wrote up an offer on THAT house. today, we were still waiting to be \'pre-approved\' which finally happened a few hours ago but we still haven\'t heard back on the new offer on the other house.

of course while doing all this, we are in the process of putting BOTH of our own homes up for sale. i told her \"Hold on and enjoy the roller coaster ride....it\'ll be a WILD ONE!\" so far it\'s been exactly that. see what i mean now???
