After having read the book, I didn\'t like the character in the movie anyways so i was happy she died. She was a smart, beautiful, confident (redheaded) Canadian. My guess is they\'d already decided when they wrote the screenplay for BI to go ahead and off her in the BS so there wasn\'t much sense in making her as strong of a character as in the book.

well, as far as her \'dying\' in the movie, we don\'t really know that for sure. yes, he left her floating away in the river, BUT they could have found her and taken her to the hospital where she recovered and now SHE suffers from amnesia and can\'t remember shit. then HE finds out she is still alive but SHE has no clue who HE is!!! damn, i should have been a writer........;)

as for her character in the book, you say she was a redheaded \'Canadian\'? are you saying she was a SHEEP? does Steve know about this??? :chin:
