i bought a car sight unseen one time. it was prolly one of the best cars i ever had. 74 duster. :dunno:

AND if you brought this up on a local forum and one person said to you, \"Well since you drive (a higher priced vehicle) you should be able to afford the part so suck it up and deal with it!\"...what would you say then?

BTW, she\'s still alive! And yes, the Ultimatum comes out on Aug 3rd. Although, I already know it wont be anything like the book since I read the back when I was waiting in line to buy it. I can just tell. I am really surprised they gave writing credit for the movies to the author of the books... the supremacy is NOTHING.. and I mean NOTHING like the book, they don\'t even take place in the same damn countries!

I need to poll the audience on something too:
Mike and I are having a post-wedding reception/party thing this weekend. We have invited alot of people and ALOT of family. Mine is coming.. and some are already here. His family for the most part hasn\'t even acknowledged the invitation (send via snail mail.. formally with a stamp and all). The ones who have, have something better going on. He is really pissed..but wont say anything. I am at my end with these people. They are users. They call him and need a car fixed, or need help moving, or anything and he is there within hours. But when It is his ONLY wedding party.. no one is coming. He is really embarassed. I want to say something and really let them know how I feel about them. But I don\'t know how or what is best. I know if i bitch today.. then will drive up and make everyone miserable because I had to bitch them out to be here. Most of his family is in Illinois, but the ones that live close are the ones that are being dumb about this. Anyway.. end of my :rant: for today. :\\ I just hate seeing him upset.

Contact the business first and ask if they own the property. If not, contact the city. If it is the businesses, contact the police and file an accident report. Mike had this problem with his vette. He went down a driveway and alerted the business who amazingly didnt own the property.. But the city didnt either. And he hates dealing with police. So he fixed it himself.

Talk to Mike about it. I know if it were me, and my wife was that bent about my family being asses, I would be *VERY* happy about the amount of love / caring about my feelings. I\'m with Tanner tho, don\'t you talk to them, or it will totally go the wrong way. Better that he tells them they missed a kick-ass party and he\'s trading them in for some new friends that really care about him and want to share his happiness with his great woman.
I hope he gets the picture that they are users, but it\'s not for you to change. I\'m a giving person too (fer crying out loud, I drove a car halfway across the country for a woman:chin: ) and I can spot a user these days. It\'s taken a few lumps for me to finally be able to notice them, but I figure that my TRUE friends / family will only appreciate more that I haven\'t become selfish b/c of a few leeches. Let him handle it. Trust me...I completely understand you wanting to step in and telling these people what they are but it wont do any good. Youll be the bitch (who cares) and it wont stop them. HE has to be the one to tell them and lay down the law as far as using him. Good luck but just know the ones that ARE going to be there is all the family he/you need.
