BRIGHT and extremely hot here. If it wasn\'t also about 85-90% humid, it would be just like Las Vegas in May. Of course, LV is just a little warmer in July.

It looked dark for a bit and we prayed it would bring some rain to cool it down, no luck. It\'s still hot as f$%k! Currently 88...feels like 98 :dead:

I was worried, so much that it made me have a bad day at work yesterday :(

We still aren\'t sure why it happened but my cousin was riding his bike saturday night with one of his friends behind him. They went onto this road that banks to the left and goes down a hill (imagine Laguna Seca\'s hairpin). For some reason about 50 feet into the turn he wound up going straight off the road at a 45* angle and went down into a valley hitting trees all along the way. The upside is that he broke his neck and died instantly so he didn\'t suffer.

His friend saw his taillights entering the turn. He got into the turn and didn\'t see my cousin anymore so he continued on down the road for another mile or so. He realized that there\'s no way my cousin could have pulled that far ahead so he turned around and came back. When he got back to the hill is when he saw the headlight from the bike.

He had just thrown his daughter\'s 8th birthday party that night before he left for the ride...
