shit happens... I did not sleep since monday, well I sleep maybe a couple of hours a night. I\'m so freaking stressed out about the car trade.
stress that prevents sleep is bad, telling you NOT to trade.....

Well I calculated everything on paper, and it\'s a good trade for me. The ONLY downside is that I loose the rarity of a notch Mustang. His has a LOT more work done than mine, his body job cost him 4500, and the car cost him 5,000 while mine has maybe 3600 in mods and I paid 3000 for it.

To bring mine up to par, I need a 4000 paint job (rusted out floor boards and some rust on the front frame rail), 5 lug swap, new wheels, new tires, fix the tune issue on the engine (I think I need a better cam to match the heads and new lifters honestly). Redo the interior, new seats to get rid of the cheap racing ones, new shocks, etc... Mine should be a 12 second car once I fix the engine, his is a high 13 second car right now. But I get all my speed parts for dirt cheap now so it won\'t take very long to go from 13\'s to mid to low 12\'s anyway.

Actually I don\'t even trust my car to make the 6 hour trip back to his place while he has done it 3 times with his Mustang with ZERO problems.

I don\'t like notch Stangs. I say go for it...but my opinion is not the norm. Its what you want that counts.
I am not daboss\'s mother! I was not a hs tramp all knocked up at the sweet young age of 16! And I do recall ALL OF YOU HAVE HAD SIMILAR TYPOS BEFORE!
so, are you saying that daboss\'s MOM was \"a hs tramp all knocked up at the sweet age of 16!\"? :naughty:
It was towards their sexual preference. It had NOTHING to do with the dog/dogs she currently has.
sorry, i\'m not buying it.....i still think it\'s BS and they are just trying to avoid any chance of a suit by you and the ACLU or the Rainbow Coalition.....:drevil:

No, I was saying that I was 16 when he was born, therefore if I had been his mother I\'d have been a hs tramp all knocked up at the sweet young age of 16!

yea, i\'ve never been a big fan of the notch either. just my opinion, but the liftback seems alot slicker. i know it\'s heavier though, so i guess it depends on what you\'re doing with it.
racing? stick with your white notch......but if you\'re just wanting a car to show or drive on special occasions, go with the liftback. either way, you\'re lucky enough to HAVE a \'Stang. which is more than i can say.

wish i still had one of mine......

I completely understand what you mean. Heres the letter I got today concerning this...it even said THEY would take offense if it was sent to them:

Hello and thank you for standing up for gay rights,
I believe your friend and all the friends that she
forwarded this to misunderstood our decline for her
application. We do not discriminate against any
homosexual people who apply for our dogs. I should
hope not as I am gay and so are many of our
volunteers.
We do not as a general policy adopt our pit bulls up
for adoption to homes that have an existing dog or
dog(s) in the home that are the same sex of the dog
that they are applying for. The potential for dog
aggression is much more pronounced and possible with a
member of the same sex. This is not always a hard
fast rule, and something we take into consideration
with very experienced pit bull owners who are willing
to crate and rotate dogs for the rest of this dogs
life, should it develop dog aggression. Most people
are not capable or willing to do this. In the case
of your friend, this would be almost impossible and
unfair due to the amount of dogs she already currently
has. Also for many reasons, we do not want our dogs
being left outside as outside dogs, which she
currently does with several of her dogs already. We
take every precaution that the dogs in our program
will find the best possible homes where they will be
safe for the rest of their lives. This includes our
no same sex DOG policy.
I am sorry that the reply that was sent to your friend
was misleading in the wording. Thank you for taking a
moment of your time to stand up for gay and human
rights. As a gay person, had I received that
response, (worded in that way and not understanding
most pit bull rescues policies regarding same sex DOG
placements), I would have been up in arms as well!
I hope I have made our position a little more
understandable. Please contact me with any further
questions regarding this case or policy.
