vw\'s break alot
and yes i know the diesel ones are nice, blah blah they get awesome milage blah blah, i just dont like them? theres to many kids around here with the little turboed jettas that think they are king shit.

dont mind me i have about 4 hours sleep in me and my coffee isnt ready yet, im not plesent

there is one kid with a nice jetta, but its way to low so it tucks the wheels and looks like ass, but hes got a big front mount, big turbo pushing good boost, and it runs 13\'s

big turbo + big FMIC should = mid 12\'s.

My friends \"stock\" 1.8T GTi ran 14.01@99 with a chip and a K&N filter, on stock tires.

my boss is sitting over my shoulder at the desk behind me. i just told him that if he does someones job that normally takes 20 minutes to do and, because he fucks it up twice, does he consider that an HOUR of work?

No, VWs do not break a lot. You are an idiot for listening to people that don\'t know how to drive and abuse their cars.

I have 147,000 miles on my 2001, and I still have the original engine, transmission, and everything around it. What HAS been replaced is the timing belt (once) and the alternator (tomorrow) and some stuff that the dealer decided to replace under warranty that probably didn\'t need to be replaced. (brake pump b/c of a badly placed brake switch, turbo b/c of a failed MAF sensor, turbo again b/c of a blown oil cooler line) so after 147k of flogging my car, I\'d say its a DAMN tough machine.

Just like all those 67 bugs that are STILL on the road.

It\'s got more than 15hp Tommy. I\'m actually around 115 or so from the 90hp it started with. But b/c it\'s a diesel that only weighs 3000 lbs, the 190lb-ft of torque makes it actually just as quick as my VII.
