You shoot deer for several reasons. I\'s a good, healthy, sport. You walk around all day, get exercise, try to outwit some dumb animal (and often don\'t) and get a idea of how tough it was for your ancestors to survive by hunting. Two, you control the population. Other wise the deer will over populate, get some disease, and die on your lawn by the numbers. When that happens you will catch some disease form the dead deer and you\'ll die. Three, to have cheap food. Some of the local families go out tougher. It\'s a family event and they save money on meat. Plus, they have a reason to have family meals and talk about the hunt.
I don\'t hunt myself but, I support it and respect people who do.

It\'s 10:00 pm and it\'s 70 degrees in my drafty house. I\'m going to bed by 11. I don\'t buy my own heating fuel. But, I work for the person who does. If he keeps making a living; then I keep making a living. Fuel is very expensive this season. So, Should I go to bed, cover up with lots of blankets, and wake up to a 50 degree house in the morning? At that time I can turn on the furnace and warm it back up to 70 (or so) before I go to work? OR, should I turn the furnace on now, say f$%k it, and sleep under one blanket tonight?

My feet smell real nasty... I have some Asics TN227 and everytime I wear these, my feet smell like the microwave popcorn isle at the grocery store... you know that weird cheesy fake butter smell? But when I wear my cheap leather dress shoes, my feel smell fresh and clean... I just took off the Asics and the smell can fill in a decent sized room... what can I do?
