I just dont like beer.
ive tried bud, bud light, nati, nati light, miller light, corona, corona light, and Yuengling which wasnt too bad
but I\'d rather drink like bacardi, or grey goose, captian, and sometimes maybe some jack

And yea you guys are making a valid point. Me and my mom sat down like months ago and talking bout that cause I used to take quarters from the big change bucket her \"spouse\" used to keep out. Since then I havnt touched it, and NEVER have i EVER stole a credit card, debit card, or from her purse.

It was a Mac debit card and well over $100. We\'ve also had a thief in the house stealing cash that lays around. I can\'t imagine how much we\'ve lost in total. (he claims that it wasn\'t him with the cash, but I no longer believe him).
And I\'m with everyone else, it doesn\'t matter how much it was. He knows how hard I work for everything we have (I don\'t make that much, and work every hour of overtime I can get to just make ends meet.) and that I don\'t have much for the extras, but give them all I can.

He\'s the child that was diagnosed with Asperger\'s, and has had a lot of social and mental health problems over the past few years.

It\'s my fault for going light on him in the past, because of his \"problems\". I really thought he respected me more than that though.
I just had burger king and I\'m about to throw up. On the days that there are only two of us in here I need to start bringing my lunch :barf:
Burger King, yuck. I\'m into bringing in grilled chicken breast and veggies and a whole grain tortilla, and making a wrap for my lunch. I\'m down 15 lbs so far. Yay me!

Thank you. Thank you very much...<bows> Working out makes all the difference in the world, too. I forgot how much I enjoyed doing it.

I have been recently told that I need to cut out sugar, white flour, pasta, potatoes, and white rice. Since cutting those items down by about 75-85% I have lost 15lbs of flab. I haven\'t even started exercising yet, so when I start that I am thinking I\'ll lose another 10 (of fat, and hopefully gain muscle). I am trying to get more people in the office to take up my diet... for two reasons... a) to help me stick with it better than I already am and b) they kinda need to health it up a little too.

Yay Vicki!

The starches are hard for me too. I\'m doing a lot of veggies instead. Portabella mushrooms are awesome! Raw, cooked; they really fill you up too.

I feel sick if I eat those, but lots of veggies is good stuff. Only problem for me:

No job = no money, and fresh foods is expensive. :(

Tell me about it. Try feeding 5+ kids and buying healthy foods. Sheesh!

Well, I can\'t always convince Keli\'i and Britt to join me in healthy, but I have gotten them to eat wraps, britt enjoys sugar free jello with lunch instead of cookies (as do I) and apples and grapes as easy after school/work snacks that wont kill the dinner appetite. I do more grilled chicken (on the GF grill I got for Xmas) and lighter sauces (beans and salsa vs creamy things). I bake now with whole wheat flour, splenda, and sugar free applesauce (replacing the oil). I also use whole wheat pastas because it\'s impossible for me not to have spaghetti, it\'s too easy fast.

It\'s been a challenge, but I\'m trying hard to stick with it. I have incentive to keep it up.

Last time I tried whole wheat spaghetti, it turned into a greasy mess. :yuck: No, I didn\'t add anything to the pot besides water, it was something in the pasta itself. Gross, and NOT doing that again. I hardly ever make pasta anyway, so I don\'t feel that I\'m losing much.

I think part of my problem right now is that I\'m working on my graduate thesis, and that doesn\'t involve any real physical movement. So I have to REALLY cut down on what I eat, which is a slow process. I don\'t want my body to go into starvation mode, but danged if I know how to detect or prevent it.

if you\'re into pasta, you might try the \"Creamette\" brand Rotini. I forget what they call it, but it comes in multi-colors and is made with spinach and some other veggies. really pretty good....actually I think the pasta sauce covers up any taste it has.

Hell, a box of that is only about $1 and will make 3-4 meals, or maybe even MORE. :)
